We had a wonderful 3 nights, very nice property indeed, incredible views from each room. Well appointed property, peaceful and quite. The local wildlife was to topup our stay, watching a koala at the back garden munching first thing at the morning was amazing. Kids loved the fire pit the view was to die for. Thanks to the generous host Jacqueline for a great service and fast communications. You have a great property indeed, diffentley recommended and we can't wait to visit back again.

We came to Great Ocean Road to do a few days outside the city while visiitng from the US, and what an amazing place we found. Gorgeous views with breathtaking sunsets and lots of quiet. We even found a Koala climbing a tree! Very easy and clear communication from the owners and lots of space. You won't be disappointed.

House was spacious to accommodate 3 familes. The highlight of the stay was the kids get to light the campfire every night. It felt like glamping! It was cozy although the place do need a bit of upgrade such as the bathrooms and furniture. Jacqueline, the host, was very helpful and quick to respond to any enquiries. To have a meal on the deck over looking the country landscape was spectacular.

Lovely getaway
The homestead guesthouse is warm and cozy and perfect for a large group of family & friends. We enjoyed the campfire, easy drive to apollo bay and had a koala staying just above the house - couldn't asked for more!
Only improvement to suggest would be a proper clean in-between each guest groups, we've had half cup coffee in the microwave, unwashed towels in the washing machine and lots of dusts and dead flies around the house - nothing major just little things that would greatly improve the experience.
Overall thank you for the wonderful stay and great communication!

CAPE OTWAY HOMESTEAD
It was such a pleasure for a family of ten to be able to spend an entire week together after the last two ghastly years; we had been keeping our fingers crossed that Covid would not spoil our plans as it had previously – and we were lucky!
The view from the homestead was spectacular - a full panorama of the Otways.
The home was very well laid out and five bedrooms ensured very comfortable sleeps for all.
Apollo Bay was a comfortable 20 minute drive and many of the tourist sites quite close by.
We are all very keen birdwatchers (particularly my daughter in law) - at last count I believe she saw 32 species and still counting.
We had a very restful, happy week in a lovely environment -neither we nor the dogs wanted to leave.
The only drawback was a very rough dirt road on the final approach which makes coming & going no mean feat in a small car or car with low clearance. Luckily 2 members of our party had more suitable cars (SUVs) or we would have felt a little stranded. We understand from Jacqueline that they have since done some work on the track but it might be worth checking the compatibility of that road with your car before booking.

Magical spot!
This is such an amazing place! We absolutely loved the peace and quiet, the friendly cows, the swing, the koalas, the birds and the coffee machine!! A fantastic spot to truly get away from it all.
