Lovely hotel and beautiful tranquil garden
Can’t fault it at all
8.0
Breakfast went well. Room was acceptable. We ate at the hotel on all three nights. Service was good.
We were cold in the restaurant. The standard of the food was variable - one meal was particularly tasty, but the other two were disappointing.
8.0
Our sea view room lived up to its label: the views over the town and coast were stunning. The hotel is old and characterful with wonky floors, beams and low ceilings: we like that. Short walk downhill to the harbour and free car parking. Good value for the price.
9.0
Very helpful staff on the front desk.
Polite breakfast staff.
Comfy room.
We had a family room which was lovely. Nice comfortable beds and good sized rooms.
Would definitely recommend.
5.0
Comfortable bed. Nice garden.
Service hit and miss. Didn’t appear to be any management making sure things were done properly. Hence issues like no toilet paper in room, tea and coffee running out at breakfast buffet. We stayed at many places on our trip along the South Coast and this was one of the most expensive, so expected better.
8.0
fantastic location, clean and tidy, helpful staff, great views
lack of staff meant restaurant not open. Not enough kitchen staff. long waits for breakfast but nice when it came.
9.0
The location is good, good parking, small rooms but ok,nice garden
Continental breakfast is ok, but could be better
7.0
Convenient free parking across the street and the good breakfast.
Somewhat hard beds.

The staff were excellent with customer service Good hotel with it’s own car park. The rear garden was nice with tables to sit at.And the view of the sea was great
Can’t complain really but some elderly people might struggle to walk back up the steep hill to get back to the hotel after spending time in the restaurants ,bars and shops which are located down the street
10.0
The sea view and how much daylight that was coming through both of the windows, which made the room nice and bright. The room was quite, with not much noise that could be heard from outside, esspecially during the night, apart from the seaguls. The bed was a decent size and was comfortable. There are tea and coffee making facilties in the room., along with a bottle of water. Wardrobe space was adequate for what was required during the stay.
The toilet flush was not very good.

Location , garden and view. Comfortable clean room
The continental breakfast could be improved. There wasn't a great selection of fruit and not enough croissants for the amount of people staying. Also the coffee was very weak, but that's an individual opinion.

The two young women who run the hotel were exceptionally attentive, professional and made us feel valued. Always happy to help, offer advice and suggestions, they really worked hard to make sure our stay was happy. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
The hotel was quaint, very comfortable, lots of different places to hang out... a room with comfy sofas and tables, bright dining areas and lovely garden to relax in.
3.0
Large range of breakfast options including full english and continental buffet, all of generally good quality. However service is inconsistent as explained in our experiences below. Location was very good and a short walk from the town with free parking opposite for guests which was handy given how busy Lyme Regis can be.
Poor value for what we paid. We did not receive a service worth £150 per night, in fact we received barely any service at all. In our three-night stay the room was not cleaned. After first the night uncleaned we just chalked this up to them forgetting, we asked them the following day to replace our used towels, which was subsequently not done. By this time we were on our last day; we were not given any room tag for our door to indicate it required cleaning either. To top this all off on the last day we waited 50mins to be served breakfast, despite there being only being two couples left to be served. Service seemed to get progressively slower and worse the longer we stayed.
The room was facing the road which got very loud at times during the night, we kept the windows open because it was hot and no fans were provided. The mattress seemed old and the bedding was not great quality.

The staff was so friendly and helpful! The location of the inn is ideal to the town and beach.
Breakfast was great and the staff even went out of the way to get an item that they ran out of.
The room was a little cramped, but clean and appointed nicely!
The internet did not work at all.

Lovely staff, great garden and views, breakfast included. Comfy bed too. Location is great
Bathroom the shower door was only half way across so water went all over. Glass table tops are not stuck down so did bump my thigh a few times on the corners that moved.
