Everything was so good! All carpets etc seemed almost brand new! Gorgeous sea view from window. Lady who greeted me was lovely & helpful. Fan was provided in room which was very welcome!
It’s at the top of a big hill (but I knew that & it actually wasn’t that bad at all to walk up!) & 2 small flights of stairs in pub (which again were fine - also with lovely carpet!). Some wouldn’t think/want to stay above a pub but the live music (that we were made well aware of beforehand) stopped promptly as promised and all noise shortly afterwards.

The room was well decorated, clean with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was lovely and clean. There was a well stocked tea tray too. The best part was a lovely balcony.
Nothing it was all good

The rooms were so nicely put together, very clean and fresh, well thought of touches such as the tea/coffee tray, with biscuits and hot chocolate. Although my en suite was small it was spotlessly clean and the towels smelt heavenly! Again there was complimentary shower gel and shampoo body wash. Although we ate out there was a bbq going on in the pub, we wished we stayed put! Super friendly staff…. There was live music Saturday night which we we told about, my room being at the back I didn’t notice it that much. And the view was certain to please as a sea view room. I’d recommend the place and hope to stay there again.
I think the rooms at the front could hear the music more, they do however tell you about this as you book so no surprises, also no on-site parking but there is a car park almost behind the pub.

Lovely cosy pub room, convenient location, value for money.
Didn't affect us but potential for noise on some nights but the pub makes this very clear when booking the room which is a good thing.

Very friendly, efficient, welcoming staff. Large comfortable bed in a lovely clean room, with a good ensuite shower.
Great atmosphere in the pub and plenty of options for eating and drinking in the town but restaurants can close early. We found a lovely pop-up restaurant and had an excellent meal. This place is a little gem.

Room was clean, comfortable, and smelled comforting - like visiting a favourite aunt! Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The water pressure in the shower wasn't the best, but I imagine in a building that old, plumbing is capricious. It WAS noisy at night, but we were forewarned, and the pub are great about cutting off the music at 11:15 and chucking everyone out by midnight. Some sort of mini fridge in the room would have been appreciated. All minor gripes, though!

Great room. Clean and bright with a lovely view of the church. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location.
The pub was pretty noisy and a band was playing. I really enjoyed listening, but might not be everyone's cup of tea!

lovely room, small but comfortable, nice sea view, friendly staff, good beer, room wasn’t noisy even though above the pub

Great to be in a lively English Pub. Beer was great. Locals and staff friendly. Live band we saw was amazing. Clean and tidy. Was everything I expected.
Parking is a long way away but that’s what Lyme Regis is like.
Perhaps a slightly faster check in but it is a pub so that’s a minor point.

Sweet room. Very clean, nice view, friendly staff. Quiet location ( we came back after band in pub had finished), we had room 3 with view to sea. Soap and shampoo provided. Close to the shops and beach.
nothing. 5 mins walk to car park.

rooms were spotless and clean. perfect to just put your head down. nice locals pub, friendly enough and very reasonable price drinks!
don’t come at the weekend if you want a quiet stay but to be fair the music stopped at the time quoted.

Welcoming staff, efficient check-in. Room large, clean & comfortable, with good supply of tea coffee, milk and toiletries. Fan provided, a bonus after the high summer temperatures. A great live music pub, with an outside terrace overlooking Lyme. A pleasant stroll downhill to Lyme Regis High Street & Seafront.

The beautiful patio overlooking Lyme. The room was and clean with everything we needed for a night's stay.
