Excelente estadia

O ambiente é muito acolhedor, além de lindo. O Stanley foi muito, muito atencioso e prestativo. Nos indicou os restaurantes - o Cabriere, sofisticado, incrível! E o Tuk Tuk, mais informal. O quarto, lindamente decorado, era muito confortável (colchão fantástico). O café da manhã foi delicioso e caprichado. Tudo muito bom!

Homely the loveliest of staff

We had a lovely surprise when we arrived at the Fleur du Soleil guesthouse as we were given a room upgrade. The suite was comfortable and very cosy. We enjoyed breakfast by the pool, served by very friendly staff whom made sure we had all we needed. Breakfast was fresh and food nicely presented. Location was great and the quaint town of Franschhoek was within walking distance.

There was nothing that we didn’t like 😊

The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. A thoroughly relaxing stay in a top class guesthouse.

Great location with an easy walk to the main street, restaurants, cafes and great shops. FdS is beautifully decorated and breakfast around the pool is a great start to the day

Stunning B & B with exceptional staff and in perfect location.

Everything about our stay from start to finish was nothing short of perfection. Room was spotless and well equipped. Beds were super comfy and staff were out of this world. Wouldn't hesitate in staying again.

From the moment we booked we were made to feel welcome

We were very happy with our room, which was a good size and beautifully decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the location was good, not far from the centre of Franschhoek. Above all, we were very impressed with the charming staff, ever helpful and ready with invaluable advice and recommendations for restaurants, wine tours etc.

We have no criticisms. We were superbly looked after.

An exceptional place

A magnificent place. This is our second stay and it was even more memorable than our first. The rooms have been recently refurbished. We stayed in the fleur du soleil room which was palatial and very comfortable. The breakfast lovely. The pool area very relaxing. Only an easy 5 minute walk to Main Road where all the shops and restaurants are situated and where the wine tram originates. As always it’s the quality of staff which makes a big difference. A big thank you to everyone but we must particularly mention Stanley. From the moment of arrival with a welcome glass of sparkling wine Stanley is a font of local knowledge. We booked a couple of restaurants on his recommendation and were not disappointed. We also changed our wine tram itinerary on his advice and again were very pleased we did so. We would highly recommend fleur du soleil. Thanks to all Paul and Ange

Fleur du Soleil - simply the guest house in Franschhoek.

Truly luxury hotel, perfect location, 3-4 minutes walking distance to the main shops and restaurants. We were greeted by Stanley who is both highly professional and very friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a delight, served by friendly staff by the swimming pool. Rooms are large, spotlessly clean with everything you need and more. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - highly recommended - will definitely return.

Gorgeous stay, so pleasant

We had the most pleasant stay here. The stall went above and beyond to cater for our needs. The staff even offered to drive us to our wine tram. Exceptional service and gorgeous setup.

Complete satisfaction guaranteed.

Breakfast was excellent; served outside due to the perfect weather we enjoyed. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. The staff provided great recommendations for restaurants and other activities. The location is in a well-kept and pretty residential area within easy walking distance of the downtown district.

Parking is limited, but that was a minor concern because street parking was readily available.

Boutique guest house right in the heart of Franschhoek, great for an intimate and peaceful escape from life!

The room door opened up onto the pool and it was very quiet. I loved the decor and attention to detail.

Relaxing stay in a luxurious guest house with a lovely team of people looking after us.

Breakfasts were a highlight of the day, a varied range of options available and Chef Patricia delivered amazing food. All served poolside in the sunshine. The best way to start the day.

Perfect. Highly recommend and will definitely return to this exceptional hotel.

It was top notch. Bijou but excellent on every level. The rooms were exceptionally decorated to a 5 star standard. The service was also 5 star. Stanley made us feel very welcome and gave recommendations regarding places to visit and eat. We also met the owner who was also very welcoming and gave great advice on where to stay in Capetown.

Fleur du Soleil met and exceeded our expectations, we will happily return and recommend to others

The property is immaculate. Recently refurbished, every room and all facilities are first class. The small dedicated staff team could not be more obliging or helpful. Stanley's local knowledge and contacts for dining and transport made our 8 night stay relaxing and stress free. Breakfast each day was excellent, freshly cooked and well presented. The location is great, just 4 minutes safe walking to the centre. The surrounding area is great for sightseeing and vineyard visits. We could not recommend Fleur du Soleil more highly

Perfect romantic stay in Franschhoek

We loved the room, it was decorated so tastefully. I really enjoyed having a bath in the beautifully designed bathroom as well. We both really enjoyed the breakfast as it was full of fresh fruit - and also the handmade jams and freshly baked croissants were divine. The entire team was friends and attentive.

Hidden Gem - a hop, skip and a jump from the main road

Before the stay The team sends you a lovely welcome letter with suggestions on what to do, where to eat and how to enjoy yourself in the area. Upon arrival the team at Fleur de Soleil make you feel welcome right from the start. The room has lots of details that make it feel special. A hand written welcome note and a detailed door with suggestions, just to name a couple. Breakfast was always delicious and a great way to start the day! This place is a must stay!

A very warm welcome and a fantastic location. The property was spotless with a very relaxed, friendly atmosphere. A hearty breakfast to set you up for a days wine tasting.

Highly recommended!

Romance in heavenly venue!

We booked a luxury suite as we were dining in Franschhoek for our 16th wedding anniversary. Could not possibly have made a better choice - the staff were so friendly and even tipped my husband off ahead of time to arrange beautiful roses for me on arrival (he admiitted this - they didn't take credit!). The staircase to our room was also scattered with flower petals - just lovely. Best stocked minibar I've ever found with enough milk and coffee - so many venues are stingy with these small things when they make all the difference. Even a full DSTV bouquet. Everything was top quality, beautifully tasteful, and finished off with the perfect breakfast. Thank you for an unforgettable night in your wonderful establishment. We'll be back!

THE place to stay in Franschhoek

One of the best places I have ever stayed. Highly recommended. Superb service from friendly staff. Very comfortable and spacious room. Hotel has an intimate, boutique feel so no hustle and bustle and noise like in big hotels. Fantastic location.

Simply the best. Highly recommended.

The staff were exceptional, the facilities are luxurious with all sorts of extra touches along the way and the town is easily within walking distance. The neighbourhood is secure and quiet. A bonus was staying in intimate, luxurious place which is not overrun by guests and their noise.
