The chalet is just amazing and the best is that there are only two of them! Did a two hour walk on the beach and did not meet anyone! Also great view onto Westhaven Inlet from Knuckle Hill.
4.5
Great location away from all distractions. Very warm welcome by Sally and review of things to do. Particularly enjoyed the glow worm night tour by Giff and explanation of the very clear night sky.
Stairs to loft took a while to get use to then not a problem.

This was an amazing location. The hosts exceptionally helpful and generous.
So unusual as a chalet, very remote cleverly placed.
Must take food with you as so far away.
Local cafe wonderful
Wildlife exceptional
Wifi issues I understand not everyone wants but there must be a better solution to keep everyone happy. Radio reception a bit iffy.
I would encourage better maps and explanations of local walks

The hosts were very helpful and informative about local walks and wildlife. They even had a lovely surprise for us! The drive there (over gravel roads) was spectacular.

Amazing accommodation off the grid in lush green surroundings with a lovely host and interesting landscapes to explore. Privately guided glow worm bush walk once it was dark.

Very nice, peaceful place to stay. Surrounded by native forest full of birds.
We haven't met our neighbors but the house is very close. If there was a little bit more space between this place would be exceptional.

Location was Amazing for what we were there for. Rooms were impeccable 👌 beds were a little hard but we made do.
Beds were a little uncomfortable but still sleepable.

Nice and cozy with all the amenties. Kids loved their upstairs sleeping quarters and some really cool activities to go out and do. We enjoyed a full moon on the decked area before bed, it was lovely.
Nothing - everything was great

Absolutely wonderful location, nature, nature, nature! Great hosts in Sally and Giff. The passion for their area is plain to see. If you want to get off the grid then this is it. Close to some neat walking tracks and not far from fantastic beaches. Check out the Glow worms with Giff, it's a must.

Awesome spot! Great rooms with really good facilities, lovely place to get away from everything
Unlimited wifi doesn't reach the chalets which seems a bit misleading, had a couple of cracked glasses

This location is unique. The cottage is well equipped. Everything you need for such a stay is there. It's very clean. Sally and Giff are super hosts. Very kind couple. The location allows for easy exploration, the neighborhood is a lot to see!

It would be preferable to access internet from your room and not from a bench where you get eaten by sandflies

We love the accomodation, the walk around the swamp was great too. The sunset at the beach was beautiful. Kids loved collecting rocks. But the glow worm experience was the best. X
