Pretty clean. Good breakfast.
Kinda crappy furniture and bathroom facilities.

Breakfast is good as expected, warm, and more than enough for all guests. The beds are a little bit small for 02 people. The room is warm. Water is also warm in the toilets.

The water pressure for the shower is great. The beds were clean and quite comfortable. The main room area was clean. The location for us was the main reason for selection. It was easy to get to and from Gothenburg central using the 60 bus.
The hotel rooms are very dated and in need of refurbishment. The bathroom was heated by the towel rail but had no ventilation so remained damp, the open drain in the floor made the room smell so had to place the bath mat over the drain grid. The shower head is old but did work effectively. There was often lots of noise overnight with what sounded like machinery working and some residents did not seem to appreciate that at 4am people are trying to sleep as there was furniture being moved about in other rooms, what sounded like children running about and loud talking. The breakfast was ok, however on the first morning had to ask for the eggs to be heated as cold, On another morning they had the most disgusting taste like cleaning fluid so was unable to eat at all. Orange juice one day was ok another just like water. The toaster was very slow, which meant long waits. Tables needed to be cleared quicker too.

Nothing good unfortunately. The room was a nightmare, the breakfast was okay but nothing special.
The room and the whole hotel was very dirty and the staff was not very nice. One receptionist was especially rude and even blaming me for criticizing the cleanliness that was nonexistent, claiming the building is old, not dirty. The room I booked was not available when I checked in, so I got a bigger room. But this supposed upgrade was an extremely dirty room with blood stains and other body fluids on the walls, towels and doors. Apart from the moldy bathroom and overall dirty appearance there were several things broken, too. Only one of three lamps was working, the fire alarm was stopped up with paper and on the floor were several cables lying around, some barely holding together. A safety risk in itself, but especially when you are supposed to stay there with a two year old! After complaining I got a better room, but the bathroom was as dirty. I was willing to accept the room in case the bathroom got cleaned again until I come back with my toddler in the evening. They only removed some mold in the shower, the rest stayed the same. Unbelievable! The smell from the drain was so bad that you basically couldn't be in the bathroom at all. Very unpleasant experience that I cannot recommend to anyone!

It was a pleasant comfortable hotel. There was a bus service to and from the city centre so getting into the centre of the city was no problem. The breakfast was decent, cannot fault.
Well I had wanted to stay at the Hotel Örgryte on the night of the 26th August but discovered that the cost of the room had gone up from 829 SEK to 2259 SEK for 1 night! The reason that I was given for this massive price hike was that there was a concert in Gothenburg that weekend and that the other hotels in Gothenburg were doing the same!
What can I say, this was an amount that I simply could ill afford so I had to stay in a hotel in Helsingborg and come to Gothenburg by train the next morning.
I really cannot understand why the hotels in Gothenburg can justify such huge price hikes when there is a major concert or other big event taking place. It's as if there is come kind of cartel in operation, there ought to be an investigation into this practice! Problem is that most Swedes don't question this practice, they just pay up!

The beds were very comfy. The breakfast was good with lots of options. The hotel is in a quiet area.
The decor was tired, they clearly have/have had a damp problem in recent years. Old mold stains on the walls and the room smelled stale. However we were able to open a window which got rid of the smell. Unfortunately due to some big event in the city the weekend we stayed, every hotel was charging upwards of £180 a night to stay there. Over double what it was worth.

This hotel is situated just outside the city centre, which can be reached by foot (not too far) or by the frequent bus service just around the corner from the hotel.
We were three persons in a family room, which was quite spacious. You can park your car in a garage just by the hotel or in the streets around it. The breakfast was adequate and the coffe was good.
We got everything we needed, but I would lie if I say that this is one of the better hotels I have stayed in.
The hotel, its rooms and furniture are dated and in need of renovation, but I guess that you therefore pay a lower price than in the smarter hotels in the city centre.

Waffles at breakfast and the location was next to the bus station taking you with 10-15 minutes to the city center.
My first room was dirty. Walls and curtains were stained. All of the furniture had some type of destruction done to them by the previous guests. There was no shower head holder and the water flow was non excisting. They did upgrade me to a better room, which looked much nicer, but still had some stains on the walls and furniture. I knew that the hotel looked really old from the photos, but i feel like the price 100€ per night is A LOT for a 3 star hotel that has these issues.

Breakfast was nice, rooms were ok, also gym and staff.
Position is not super close to the city centre

Clean rooms with all the necessities, good value for the price. Friendly and helpful staff. Overall we were very content with our stay.
The hotel is located a bit further from the city, not really walking distance. However, there is a bus that goes straight to the main train station, and we used electric scooters to reach the city - fast and efficient.
