The hotel, room and facilities were all great.
The breakfast was possibly the worst we have ever had. Really disappointed and certainly not worth the money. Food had obviously been cooked a long time prior and kept warm. Black pudding was like rock... Staff were not friendly and seemed annoyed to be there.

It was a lovely room in the courtyard, but soundproofing between the corridor and other rooms was almost non exisitent, so people coming and going were very noisy. Bed was comfy and the the room spacious,
No where to put luggage, there was an ironing board n the wardrobe so we used that put our small case on!

Le charme authentique de cet hôtel
La construction de maisons individuelles en
Nombre autour de cet hôtel lui faisant perdre une partie de son charme.
Le renouvellement de shampooing et papier toilette wc qui répond à peine au besoin.

lovely hotel very relaxing and calming vibe! comfortable and chilled
room service prices was very expensive for what it’s worth! paid £30+ for two very basic sandwiches at lunch time because of an extra £5 charge per person for ordering room service.

The spa was surprisingly very good! The staff was so kind, the food in the restaurant was very nice as well!
You can hear the people walking in the room upstairs like they would have walk in your room. This is not very good when you are on holiday and you would like to sleep a bit more.

Pretty quiet away from noise and motorways. Restaurant was nice and spa was decent.
Rooms rather dated. I understand the feel of the place but it could do with some modernization especially for the price.

One of the rooms we booked had obviously been previously occupied by a smoker. It had that smell.

We were a family group of 12 celebrating a birthday all had room /Breakfast & evening meal half of us booked the pool/Spa, liked that the Hotel is Dog friendly too. Staff were all friendly/Helpful & Reception very efficient.
We were moved from 2 different seating areas throughout the day/Evening as we were advised the area had been pre-booked or reserved, even though there were no notices of this when we 1st sat down (in the lounge area for Eg during the afternoon) Even though we were eating Lunch at the time, we were told that we would need to vacate in approx one hour as it was reserved from that time. Then in the evening inside the on-site pub ? we had all just got a drinks & sat in an area suitable for us to be seated all together, only to be told 15 minuets later that we would have to move to the other side of the Pub as the area we were in was reserved. I understand that this happens, but it would be more user friendly if when an area is reserved, you could put up a notice advising of this, rather than allowing people to get comfortable & then move them. Did not spoil our stay which was lovely, just a little annoyed that it happened twice in one day.

The village was very nicely done and the spa facilities are great. Comfortable clean rooms
Inconsistency in the rooms. We travelled in 2 groups. 1 group had robes slippers and chocolates on the pillow the other didnt get any of these. The rooms decor seem a little dated although they are nice.

Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were helpful, they even brought me a fan at 3am because the room was very warm.
I really enjoyed the spa facilities, all the facilities were available to be used.
The room got very warm at night and because our room was on the 2nd floor the window couldn't be opened more than 2 inches this could be improved if the room had air con or a fan already inside. Also booking a time slot for spa access just made it a concern that we wouldn't be able to enjoy the facilities on offer within 50 minutes

Spa etc and room
Food menu and cost, not much selection
