The outdoor space is very nice, there is a large patio area and pool and rooftop which we enjoyed. We had dinner once which was very good.
Shower area is very small so water splashes everywhere when trying to shower no matter how careful you are. Some of the decorative blankets and throw had large clumps of hair attached to them.

Beautiful setting, well located, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, great hammam
Towels were a bit old, could do with a replacement

Nice architecture, pleasant garden with a nice breeze - spacious room.
Delicious Moroccan dinner.
Unfortunately for the price paid, quite a few points are not up to standard.
Furniture/ utilities are old and need repair (desk chair of our bedroom fell apart, toilet at risk of fallen down/ not functioning, shower didn’t drain properly, sofas could need a refurbishing, etc). Much effort has visibly gone into the house when it was set up, but it now feels tired.
There isn’t much attention to details such as serving Carrefour tea for breakfast or Pantene shampoo in the hammam - this is a missed opportunity given the number of nice and affordable Moroccan products that could be used (and given some of them already are).
The dinner was delicious - but it is certainly way more expensive than many delicious places in town (esp. as drinks are not included and that’s only explained later…)
Finally, the atmosphere with the staff was a little tensed. Of course this could be subjective, but we felt like we were at times imposing with our requests and this felt a little uneasy.

Great staff and facilities however expensive - although I think worth every cent.
Told to order dinner on arrival

The room no 4, with terrace was lovely & the twin beds, although they were quite small, were very comfortable.
The roof-top terrace was a great place to chill out with fabulous views over Tangier.
All the staff were always friendly, welcoming & created a relaxed vibe.
I loved the location - just a few minutes walk from the medina, offering you an escape from the hustle & bustle.
The large array of fruits & breads at breakfast offered a great start to the day & I was pleased to see plant-based alternatives to milk. My friend loved the made to order omelettes & homemade yoghurts.
I can’t wait to visit Tangier again & I will definitely book in to stay at La Maison de Tangers.
The subdued lighting in the bedroom did create a nice ambience, but it was a bit difficult to see clearly at night-time - perhaps 1 brighter light, or dimmer switches could work as a compromise.
The bathroom was very clean, but it would have been nice to have a shower head that was fixed to the wall as you needed to hold the handle in order to effectively use it.
I enjoyed the fruit platter & breads at breakfast & that there was a plant-based milk - it would have been even better for me if a non-dairy spread & yoghurts were also offered.

Extraordinary staff, one after another. Kind, warm, funny, knowledgeable. Beautiful room. Very happy with location, which is taxi accessible (has parking if you have a car!) but a short walk to the medina and other central sights. A perfect stay in Tangier and a great landing spot for easing into a trip to Morocco.
