Julia was an amazing host and made us feel so very welcome . The location was perfect to relax in after wandering round the beautiful city . The homemade delights for breakfast were amazing ! It is a little way out of Lucca if you don’t have a car, but still absolutely worth the cost of the taxi ride .
What was not to like !!

We had the most warm welcome ever. When we arrived there was homemade food/snacks and a nice glass of red wine. In the morning we had such a variety of products which they harvest themselves.
The room is old-fashioned, but that really gives the agriturismo the right vibe and it was super clean.
Nothing to add here, it was all great!

There was nothing we didn't enjoy about this stay. From the moment we arrived Guilia has made us feel completely welcome, at home and as though nothing was too much trouble. She could not do enough for us but wasn't intrusive in any way.
The homemade breakfast changed daily and was absolutely delicious. We loved that it was all locally sourced and handmade by Guilia every day!
Learning the history of the house and the area when we checked in was a lovely touch as well. The rustic, quiet setting was absolutely perfect for us to relax after a busy few days exploring Florence and Pisa. It's close enough to Lucca to be able to enjoy the fabulous food and activities the city has to offer and taxis are a reasonably priced.
Yes, there is no air con but the fans that are provided work wonders! Top tip... Put some wet towels in the freezer and then when you come back from your day, pop them over you with the fan on... Bliss!
The house is beautiful and clean.. Guilia keeps on top of everything daily... She never stops and her care and attention to detail shows.
We had an amazing few days here and we will absolutely be returning and staying here again. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for an authentic experience of Tuscany. It's perfect for couples looking to relax and unwind and perfect for families looking for a good base to explore from.

The amazing hospitality of the lady of the house, the nice athmosphere, the home made breakfast which we could even enjoy during lunch, the swimming pool, the rooms, proximity to Lucca and Pisa.

As many have mentioned, the host Julia is an unbelievable person. From the first second when she welcomed us till the checking out next day. She would give us and do for us anything. The breakfast people keep mentioning, YES, they are all right. The local and homemade food served by Julia outside by the pool, simply something unbelievable. Such treatments you do not even get in a 5 star hotel. All the outside looks fantastic, the pool, darts, table tennis, kids playground, etc. And all is practically just for you as there are not too many other guests.
Our biggest disappointment was the area and the house itself. It was our first trip to Tuscany and from Italian movies and series we had had totally different interpretation of the region. Attractive old mansions, surrounded by vineyards, olive orchards, all settled in a hilly area. This was just a reconstructed old house with interior not matching any historical period. A mix of all kinds of pictures, decorations, furniture. Simply, I did not feel like in a special historical Tuscany house, but just like in my grandparents older house located somewhere in a European countryside. I am not saying it was bad, just for me and my family it was very disappointing.

The friendliness of the host, Giulia. Even our dog was warmly welcomed. :-) All the homemade snacks and breakfast were so tasty. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable.
Not much to complain but the kitchen items can be upgraded. A kettle to cook water and a coffee machine would be nice.

THe bed was a a bit too uncomfortable. It was very soft and we sunk in, which caused some strains in our body.

We were very kindly received by our host who was 100% taking care of us. Her kindness was a pleasure during our stay. The swimming pool was very pleasant and very well maintained. The location is close to Lucca for which were there for a wedding.
Line bed sheets. The wifi not working for conference calls.

The location was nice and peaceful and the host was very welcoming. We were given home-made wine and snacks on arrival which was a nice touch.
No air conditioning but fans were provided. Better sign post was needed as we searched for an entrance for a while

Let’s start with first impressions - we arrived late and tired from Pisa Airport and were met by the owner Giulia who brought us to our ground floor apartment, showed us around and gave us wine, soft drinks and pastries. What a lovely welcome.
We were probably lucky in that we got a big 2 room ground floor apartment with its own attached large glass enclosed breakfast / recreation area. This gave us the option of having a private breakfast looking out on the large well kept gardens and beautiful Tuscan scenery. The rooms were rustic with a lovely atmosphere. It is a well maintained old building with atmospheric period rooms.
Breakfast was first class - a wide range of tasty dishes that set us up nicely for our day.
We visited in late October. While the weather was sunny, it was cool in the morning so it was not possible to use some of the many outdoor facilities in the garden - such as the good sized swimming pool. I can imagine that, in warm summer weather, it would be the perfect stay for a family with young children.
The location is good - a rural area yet only a short number of kilometres from Lucca. Of course you will need a car if you want to stay here.
My final comment - Giulia was a lovely host.
This place is highly recommended.

Everything was outstanding. The owner couple could not do enough to please me. Nothing was a problem. The offered some local specialities on the first evening which were very tasty. Breakfast was outstanding, with different local specialities every morning served with a smile.
The pool area was very nice too and the room clean and spacious.

The location of the property was perfect, great size rooms with a wonderful rustic feel, and being only a few kilometres from the city centre of Lucca made it very accessible, but at the same time feel like you're in another town by the countryside. Giulia and Guido were wonderful friendly hosts. They were always very accomodating and kind. Breakfast each day was fantastic. We got a wonderful selection of food each morning which even included some of their own home made products. The pool was perfect to unwind in during the heat of the day. Would be more than happy to refer friends and family to stay there and we would also be happy to stay again in the future.
