I rarely come across a bathroom as clean as the one i had at the wharf hotel.. they seem recently renovated so it felt good to have no sign of other peoples use.

The food was awful, i ordered nachos as a main, i couldnt finish it, very low standard of cooking... the noise from downstairs leaked in a lot but i could have figured thatd happen seeing as its an old building with games and a bar.

Exceptional

OMG the bed was super comfy, I wanna take it home with me!!! The service was fantastic... And such great value. Highly recommend....

The app I used told me food wasn't available at this venue, however food IS available and what I saw of the menu looked awesome and smelt fantastic... And great prices . Wish I didn't eat before checking in xxx

The kitchenette was minimally equipped and no space for preparation.

We booked the hotel due to its proximity to the Tulip Festival which we were attending. Hotel ok, as expected for a pub with accommodation. We ended up having to check out and not spend the night.

Passable

No crockery even though toaster supplied no cutlery provided either. Plastic outdoor chairs to sit on. Extension leads everywhere. Toaster and kettle had to sit on floor when on use.

Location. Great views. Walking distance to restaurants. Tulip festival had a great vibe!

Disappointing

Staff were friendly room basic but clean.

There was a major disturbance during the night and when raised with staff next day brushed off and no follow up in any form. Sent email regarding this and no reply at all.🙄😣

Good stay

Hotel unit with adequate facilities.

The property is fine but the pizza chef should really warn that the Diablo had a SWEET chilli base! But he does make a good nachos

Excellent location with great river views. Warm, clean and comfortable room at a great price with friendly staff

Good location, big room comfortable

As warned the room was over a dining area and you have to wait till mid evening for the noise to subside. The music played in the pub was a little bit louder than I would of liked but it did stop around 9pm.

If I return to Wynyard I would return to the Wharf Hotel

The staff were great and it was a lovely old hotel with great character. I enjoyed my stay. It was very comfortable. Location was fantastic with easy access to the shops and some great walks. I wish I had more time to explore the area.

The door locks were a little stiff and hard to lock. More powerpoints would have made things a little easier but I understand due to the age of the building.
