Wouldn’t want to miss this in Wynyard!

Great location close to the Main Street and walking distance from the airport. The bedding was excellent, clean & really comfortable. The villa has everything you need, it’s clean, warm & homely!

The street is quite busy, and noisy at night. This is not a fault of the owners. The fridge - it is SO noisy. Really irritating buzzing & almost robotic sounds, definitely on its way out. It kept me up at night multiple times. Not having wifi, this was a huge negative for me being in Wynyard for work! It was really difficult to even get a reasonable signal. I would have probably rated higher if this was installed if I’m completely honest.

Excellent venue

It was clean, new and comfortable. Everything was there as in dishwashing liquid etc and I enjoyed the company of the animals. The location was great too.

Really Convenient and Comfortable Apartment

I really enjoyed my short stay at Villa Giraffe. The location was ideal for me, being an easy 5 minute walk from the airport and another 5 minutes to the town centre (Woolworths, BWS, etc). Car parking was off-street and right outside the front door, which was very convenient. The unit was pretty much as described and as per previous reviews, so I won't repeat these here. However, I noted that a CCTV camera was monitoring the unit's exterior, so I assume that all movements are recorded.

I would have given the unit 10/10 but for three minor issues. I was a little surprised that I could not find a microwave and that there was no wi-fi (both of which I could manage without, as there were alternatives), but I could not live without a bottle opener/corkscrew, so I went to the Woolies around the corner and bought one, which is now in the cutlery drawer of Villa Giraffe.

Lovely comfortable unit that was clean and central to Wynyard

Property was clean, comfortable and had everything needed.

Address and pin provided by Booking.com were incorrect and caused initial confusion until we contacted hosts and were provided with correct information. Had initial problems getting the heating working on the split system.

Couch and lounge chair needed more padding. Difficult to operate the reverse cycle heating / cooling. Even with instruction booklet. (Glad the electric heater worked well.)

A cosy, comfortable and convenient base to visit family and friends along the NW Coast.

Modern and fully appointed villa, close by shops/cafes etc.

A minor issue, the fridge made a lot of noise :-(

The bed mattress was quite uncomfortable, particularly on the left side. Also no wifi.

Good central spot value for money very clean everything in unit we needed

Your email with pin code was incorrect took a bit of ringing around to get correct one . And hosts didn't send there email to us with correct pin for lock box on it. Wouldn't have been happy if we arrived late and weren't able to contact anyone . Bed was average a bit too soft .

Modern and well located villa

Tastefully decorated, modern and comfortable villa (Zebra) with only one other villa (Giraffe) next door. Quiet and convenient location in the heart of town. Well equipped for self catering. Good shower. Warm with two heaters.

Absolutely relaxing and gorgeous,!

The property was lovely, and it was like home away from home we really loved the theme of the animals. The unit was ideally located walking distance to the Main Street. We would highly recommend this property to any couples travelling around Tasmania, it is central to lots of day trips a short drive away like Stanley, Penguin and of course Wynard itself is great, do the lighthouse tour if you are near!

We liked everything, noting to not like at all!
