Nice and comfortable room, very clean. Good shower. Breakfast is great. And the family is very kind and helpful! The area is nice and quiet, it takes some time to get to the city centre because of the heavy traffic. You can park your car easily in front of the villa, they let us park our motorbikes in the gate.

Very comfortable room, powerful air conditioning, mosquito net, hot shower, secure parking -- everything we were looking for!
The location is a bit far from the center, but it is much more calm and easier to sleep on this side of town. Not very many restaurant options nearby. Unable to pay by card for the hotel.

typical for the country, which I find good, extra requests were gladly fulfilled
the noise from outside (outside the hotel) is sometimes loud, but I could sleep well

the staff were so sweet! Marie helped me hail a taxi every day.
the room was clean, large, and quiet. it was very comfortable overall.
it was hard to describe to taxi drivers from Dakar where to go and there isn’t a sign anywhere. it’s far from the city center.

The hotel is located at the Pate d'oie, which is quite outside of dakar. There are a few busses which go from there to the city center. For us it was ok, because we did two excursions into Dakar. This place is good to get away from Dakar without going threw the all traffic jam in the city, so we chose this place.
The hotel is not really signed visible as a hotel, so we searched for it a little bit. It is the big pink house on the sandy road with the generator in the cage, near the milk shop with the painted cow on the door.
The hotel looks nice and the rooms were comfortable. The bathroom was ok and there was also a mosquito net above the bed (big plus!).
The host was nice.
The lights were quite weak so the room was always very dark.
There was no trash bin in the room.
We were in Ramadan there, so it was in general a problem to get food to eat now outside of super touristic places. On the booking.com website it was written, that the hotel offers also other meals than breakfast (like lunch)...but in Ramadan it seems like they offer no meals at all. This should be written on the website, because some tourist from non-muslim countries maybe expect to eat there and avoid to eat in public.
We ordered for one day a breakfast and it looks like that they do not really want to make it. The breakfast was then ok.

This was such a wonderful place: the owners are so kind and helpful. My stay was very brief and because of long hours, I didn't spend much time there but the room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was huge and delicious. It felt very homely and nice to come back to after a very hectic day.
It was a little difficult to find but I did arrive at 4.30am and had I arrived during daylight hours, lots of people would have been able to provide directions.

This place was much more than what i asked for! Super clean, comfortable and peaceful. The staff were super helpful in getting me some insider travelers info to Senegal and The Gambia. I absolutely will be booking this place again!
Hard to find initially but once i found it, what an oasis!

The sandy road that leads to the place.

Hosts are extremely hospitable. The rooms and bathroom are clean and cleaned daily. The Villa is not in the normal « tourist » area which is lovely because it allows to experience and explore local culture. The staff is helpful and freely gives tips on the surroundings.
Internet connection is not always stable.
