Great house

We had 3 families with kids 13-18, 10 of us total. Ton's of room and could have comfortably had additional guests. Lots or room, nook, interesting spaces to spread out. House has lots of character and pride of the long term owners. Great proximity to downtown. We walked several times, 15 minutes but great time for fresh air. About a 3-4 minute 300-400 foot walk up and across the street to hop on to the trail to ski down 4 o'clock to the Snowflake lift to start the day. Could ski to our driveway at the end of the day on the street after hopping off 4 o'clock. overall a great way to experience Breckenridge!!

Bab’s Property is absolutely beautiful. The listing is exactly as advertised but even prettier. There was plenty of space for the 13 of us. Bab’s was super communicative and flexible about the booking and was quick to respond for any questions I had. I would highly consider this property if you are looking for a getaway. Thanks for having us!

Our family loved everything about this mountain home perched above Breckenridge. The location was perfect, surrounded by aspens and pines–we slept to the sounds of the rushing stream below every night. A short ten-minute walk to town and 15 up the hill. An easy 2-minute drive if you don't want the exercise. The house is fantastic–architecturally interesting (built in the '70s) with endless beds, bedrooms, and reading nooks. Furnished beautifully. We loved playing pool at night and hanging on the back deck. Very nice hot tub! Lots of books and games. We'd love to return during ski season!

We will be back - property was nicely stocked for just arriving - clean organized kitchen. Spacious for kids, great ski in location, and close enough to town - very convenient but still quiet and relaxing - The owner answered our questions right away - very satisfied party!

Overall our experience was good! The house was roomy, the hot tub was wonderful and our granddaughters loved the big upstairs room. Even though there aren't any major complaints, there are a few that should be addressed: The upstairs king bedroom was stale and after the first two nights, my son and his wife ended up moving to the bottom level and sleeping on the couch. Also, the shower/tub. in that same upstairs bathroom, was slow to drain, so they showered in our bathroom. The kitchen, though small for a house that size, had pretty much everything needed to cook, except for a can opener. We were unable to use the front door, as it was in disrepair. The handyman was quick to get there to do a repair, but was unable to finish it during our stay. Again, we enjoyed our time there, but at the per night cost, we thought it should be near perfection.

We enjoyed our trip immensely. The house was easy to find and the check in and out directions were clear. The location was great! Just a short walk across and down the street to the mountain. The kitchen is adequate, but certainly not big enough for everyone to be in at one time. We enjoyed all of the time we spent there.

Everything we needed for a comfortable stay
Each year I go on a ski trip with with two other families. The kids are now 11 yrs old to 15 yrs old. The Honey Mountain House exceeded our expectations. It had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. We went to the City Market and bought groceries for breakfast, lunch and dinners. It was great to cook and relax at the house each night after a full day of skiing. Plus, saved us lots of money and time. The town of Breckenridge was packed. Loved having washer/dryer on the 1st and 2nd floors.
Skiing was great. Even though the town was packed, the mountain did not seem over crowded. Our kids even got the opportunity to ski on their own with out the adults. The 4 o'clock trail out front was easy to get to and was a quick easy ski to the snowflake lift. We lucked out with beautiful snow and relatively warm weather (30's). We rented at Christy Sports right down the hill on 4'Oclock road. Very easy process.
We also did some extreme sledding at Counrty Boy Mine. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

Primo property, wonderfully situated
What a gorgeous home and site location. This is a premier property and is very well equipped and cared for. I have used VRBO over a dozen time and this was the first home that exceeded my expectations after seeing the pictures and reading about it. I appreciate the opportunity to stay at your lovely home.

Outstanding
We could not have asked for a better place. Everything as described. You can walk almost just across the street to get on the four o'clock run and ride down to the snowflake lift and an easy ski back to the house when you are done. Very clean. Kitchen has everything you need. Washer and dryer upstairs and down. Heated garage so all of your ski boots and clothes are warm in the morning. This is our 3rd year in Breckenridge and this is by far the best place we have stayed. Looking forward to coming back again.

Wonderful home and great communication
We rented this house for a family ski trip and it was amazing. Part of our group had to cancel due to Covid and the property manager Babs was amazing with giving us a lot of options including cancelling and giving us a full refund if we needed to. The house is very nice, great amenities and the skiing was amazing. I would recommend this property to anyone!!!

The host was excellent, main street was near by for restaurants, bars and shops, and great hiking right out the front door. The creek behind the house provides good vibes for the rear decks. Hope to visit again in the future.

INCREDIBLE PROPERTY!
My family and I stayed at this lovely home in August of 2021 and it was the most charming and perfect place for all of us! The home is beautiful, spacious, has an abundance of amenities, is private and is a short distance to wonderful trails and mainstreet in Breckenridge. A huge bonus is the large table where our family could have meals together, the large hot tub on the lower deck that was absolutely glorious under the night sky and the abundance of beds and bathrooms. The reading nooks were a hit with my daughters and granddaughters and the home truly offered space to be together and privacy when you wanted to have some alone time. The sound of water from the creek behind the home made afternoons and evenings on the top deck so relaxing.
We made some beautiful memories and we're already talking about our next stay. A big thank you to the owners for providing such a stunning home!

Great property, well-equipped
The house is beautiful and very well-equipped for a large group. Property management is competent & responsive. Great location. We would rent again. The only caveats are that some of the mattresses are in need of replacement and that the hot tub was out-of-order for a portion of our stay due to electrical problem requiring replacement parts.

Best ski trip I’ve been a part of! The house was great. The fireplace was amazing to end the days with. Ski in ski out made hitting the slopes seamless. We will be coming back! Couldn’t ask for a better house and host (Babs was responsive and as pleasant as they come!).

Outstanding Home and location!
We stayed here for a ski trip in March 2021. Everything was great. The house is well maintained with great amenities: heated driveway, heated floors, two laundry rooms, comfortable beds, nice furniture, hot tub, functional kitchen, humidifiers. There's lots of communal social space for people to spread out. The back yard has a lot of privacy with a great view of the woods for the outdoor private hot tub. The house is a 1-2 minute (~25 yards) walk up the street to ski trail access - very easy. Homeowner is responsive and easy to work with, and does a lot to maintain the home to make sure it functions as needed for your stay. I highly recommend this home.

Awesome place!!!
The entire house is great and comfortably fits a large group. Loved the look, feel, and overall layout! Babs is incredibly easy to communicate with and ensures a seamless experience. Can't beat the ski-in/ski-out perk...walk 100 feet out of the front door and you're on a trail ready to head down the mountain!
