Very well kept, excellent staff and really great food. Reef is marvelous and sustainability is in high regards.
I deducted one star as the seaview chalet that I booked was NOT a seaview and I was told that despite the picture indicating this, I had only booked a ‚hilltop‘.
The place is expensive but there were certain shortcomings which are not communicated. No hot water - only in 2 chalets with a/c. On booking they can‘t be selected. I was charged for renting equipment which given the price is really petty. There were issued with the power for a couple of days. Ongoing maintenance.

What you pay here for is not the ressort or the food, but purely the location. It is a very nice place and you share it with only the hotel guests and staff, which you mostly only encounter when getting food.
That said, the quality of the food varies from day to day and most of the time is also not enough. You do not get to choose what to eat, instead, you just get what the chef decided to make. If you like it or not. The rooms themselves are really basic and a little small. It is nice though to relax on the hammock on the balcony.
So whether it is worth the 250 $ a night or not everyone has to decide for themselves. For me, it is not. In other good hotels in the Philippines you get way better accomodation and food for a third of the price. It really is all about the location.

The location is perfect ! Excellent diving. Wonderful beach and sea only 10 meters from your bamboo hut. Friendly and helpful staff. The dive centre is very good.
Prices are a bit too high, also because the facilities are quite basic (no AC, no hot water). The room rate, but also prices for the boat trips and drinks. Think they will get more customers when price is more reasonable.

Location and the local fresh food, the latter should be kept as is as it was very nice, i looked forward to each meal

Meals were fantastic and Dive Operation and location to wrecks close by speedboat. Liked the seclusion.

The property is absolutely stunning! Beautiful gardens, beach and close to all the dive sites. All the staff were very friendly and the dive shop was great.
Normally just having a fan in the room would be fine, but with the heat and no breeze at night, it was too hot to sleep at night.

How amazingly the f****d us over. The staff told me they booked me a ferry ticket as requested but I discovered the day before departure that they didn't. This cost me 700 euros of flight that I had to book to arrive in time to my destination. They said that the ferry was not running due to weather (montenegro Ferry) but actually there was another ferry (Atienza Ferry) doing the same trip and running smothly. To cover for their mistake they made things wors by lying about the fact that no ferry was running.

location is amazing, staff are always listening to requests and deliver more than expected, diving center is perfect on every aspect all this gathered in a small piece of heaven.
days seem shorter than when you are in a busy stressful city.

The resort is located on an idillic island, absolutely beautiful, a real paradise.
You share the island only with few guests of the resort, so you find a lot of privacy.
Rooms (kind of tree houses on platforms)
are iconic and give the perfect touch to the island
All staff is very kind and trying to help you all the time.
Drinkable water, tea and coffee at your disposal 24h.
The beach of the resort is beautiful, and there is an interesting coral reef just in the front, where you can swim sacy at your own.
Cocktail bar on the sea front is also very nice when sunset, and prices on the happy hour are cheap.
The houses (rooms) are a bit limited in comodities. No hot water in shower. No wifi. No air conditioned (but there is a fan). Additional lights would be great.
Towels are changed only every three days.
Food menu is a bit limited also, basically you have one option every meal (plus rice).
We arrived from the airport to the island at 230pm and lunch was already served, so we did not have the opportunity to eat anything until dinner.
All these limitations are not a big deal, but the resort is not cheap, when you are paying 200€/night you have bigger expectations.
I recommend not to book the private hoping island excursions in the hotel. We paid 7500 php/person when the price for private in Coron is 4500php/person. But even worse, you are farther from Coron Island and you arrive to the lagoons at the same time with the group boats (group tour is 1200 php/person), and the sports are crowded. So we paid private boat for nothing.

The location is amazing! Truly perfect! The local coral reef is amazing. A staff member kindly showed us how to get there and took us to the hot spring through the mangroves. The house reef albeit bleached still has a lot of fish. The bar area is very cool on a massive rock and serves lovely cocktails. The restaurant is very good, lots of varied meals and homemade cookies! This place is truly unique and when we first arrived there were only a few people and was like a deserted island! It's worth visiting! The staff pick you up on a speedboat to get there, it was a wonderful destination!
We stayed in the Hilltop Chalet, which surrounds you by jungle, but you do not have a sea view.
This place is amazing but in my opinion overpriced and could do with some work. It looks tired in certain areas, the bathroom window had a massive crack. There were no hand towels . The bathroom door didn't shut and the front door didnt lock. There isnt a safe in the room (but they can keep belongings in reception). The electrical sockets, are philippino (but reception can give you an international adapter). No aircon, only fans which were noisy and didnt work the best. The steps going up to the chalet were covered in branches etc, I understand the vibe their going for but at night it's dark and a slip hazard. You can snorkle, paddle board and kayak here, but you have to pay for all of these and it's not cheap. I think it would be better for these things to be included in the price . We were not qualified divers, we did the "Try Dive", which was awesome, but if you can't dive you are limited to the activities noted above. A large group of guests arrived on our last night and were very rowdy and noisy after midnight. Our chalet was just up from the restaurant and it was like they were in our room! I think the staff could have advised guests to keep it down after midnight. The WiFi is non existent.

Food was outstanding, the location is perfect for
wreck diving which is world class. kayaking to the hot springs was fun. Staff were very friendly:)
not much to not
like beautiful secluded spot!

the property looked even better than on the pictures, the island is private and it’s really out of this world
it was a little dark at night to reach our cabana , would add a little more lights on the way

Best location ever. You can only dream of being on a tiny island surrounded by nature, the sea, a great reef for snorkelling and delicious food served three times a day.
This property is not for the tourist wishing to have a “city” experience. Living space is shared with all the animals and insects, from Monkeys to crabs and everything in between. I really loved it for that too!

The place was really beautiful and the staff very nice and caring. We also appreciated the food
For the price we paid, I would of expected better accommodation, a shower that works, better isolation, better beds, a nicer room. Breakfast for early check outs should not be forgotten either.

This is for the adventurous and those who like being close to nature. Property is beautiful but really beauty lies below the water and there are some very good diving and snorkelling sites. Staff is excellent. Loved the food.
Limited wifi but I didnt mind that as it was good to disconnect. No hot showers but there is electricity all the time.
Diving team is very helpful.

Arrived and straight away felt like paradise. Could not fault it. Food is amazing! Staff are all lovely and friendly and so helpful. We organised an island hopping tour and the guys know what they are doing. Managed to visit popular spots like kayangan lake with barely any other people!
Nothing!

Beautiful resort, amazing food, super friendly and helpful staff, great diving
Bear in mind that Sangat is on a private island - this is not a bad thing, but important to note that it is not on the main island of Coron.
