Would recommend

Good location for why was at Glasgow, parking was great, easy checkin and checkout

Maybe idea to put a fridge in rooms

Stay met our requirements and expectations. Would use again.

Great location and a very comfortable and quiet room looking out at the rear of the property. Check in was quick and easy too.

Check out time is a little early, another hour would be ideal. The entrance is a bit tired looking as is the entrance hallway. The facility dearly misses the bar that used to be on site too.

Stayed one day out of the two and left.

Rooms clean

One key opens both outside doors as well as bedroom. So I take it that every room has the same key to get in and out which probably means I could use mine on any room.

Excellent place for work. Idiot girlfriend booked because it's central! It's not. Room really good. No near pub. Looks rough outside, but pleasant in.

nothing to like very rude staff and we waited 30 minutes for staff to open the door

We paid, and received confirmation email but the staff told as we didn't pay we have to pay again or leave.

The room was clean and spacious

There was no mirror in the room to allow you to see when drying your hair straightening your hair and no socket close to the bathroom where the mirror was. There were 2 people and there was only 1 bath towel and a hand towel left in the bedroom.

Acceptable for a short business stay

The room and en suite were very clean and comfortable. It was also very cost-effective and I did not need to pay for the wifi

I could hear nearby traffic from my room and also what sounded like the occasional train. The exterior of the hotel was not very welcoming - though the room was far better than the outside let on

Don't let the exterior put you off....Fabulous for the money.

Room was very cosy, lovley, and warm. Piping hot shower. Very clean. Lovely big room.

Maybe the location isn't the greatest, but once you're checked in and in your room, it's brilliant value for money.

The shower was ok, and the bed was clean

The area, the building, the check in, loose socket, lights not working. Rip in carpet. Terrible looking building.

comfy bed.

There was not a dedicated safe place to leave the room key when you are ending your stay.

Douglas Hotel

Very clean small room. Tea and coffee facilities ,large TV. Plenty of towels

The owners of the hotel were lovely and we hope their business does well. There is no glamour with the outside of the building but the room was warm and very clean and comfortable. The only thing was we were unsure where to get water for the kettle and an extra pillow would be good but I'm sure if we had asked we would have been sorted. If we are ever back on Glasgow we would not pass this place. Excellent budget hotel

Big room was clean good sleep no complaints

When I seen the building I was about to about turn and go back home it definitely needs work done on the outside but it was a good room clean everything worked just the exterior let's it down
