Room was small but I was on my own so didn't need a big room.
Room was so warm, which was lovely because it was cold.
Wifi worked really well and bed was comfortable.
Staff were extremely nice and helpful, had a few nice chats with them.
Nothing all was fab

I have stayed in this hotel on numerous occasions. I find the staff very friendly and they upgraded my single to a double room on multiple occasions.

The hotel was comfortable, there was parking nearby and it was easy to get to the city centre and the University.

Hannah was great at checking us in, giving us everything we needed: including places to eat, distance to the centre.
The shower room needed attention: shower cubicle needed renovating, the door under the sink needed replacing.

it was the building which was really nice and attracted me to stay as well as the price. The receptionist was lovely she recommended places for me to go try and was very welcoming told me all the information I needed to know during my stay she needs a pay rise for her effective communication and providing accurate information to hotel customers.
I didn’t realise it wasn’t in city centre but it wasn’t too far and was just 15 mins walk straight down the road. My room was a bit smaller than expected and the bathroom was a bit of a tight squeeze and the photos made the room look nicer so was kind of disappointing. I didn’t like my room being on ground floor either.

View from hotel room
Hit or miss on whether you need to pay a deposit stayed there a few times and only seem to be asked for a deposit when wearing scruffs for comfort

The room didn’t have any window and ventilation was poor.

Excellent staff and value for money - some other local hotels could learn from this place.
Maybe get some parking in the car park just behind the hotel - but having said that I have always been able to park on the side road near the B&Q (if sometimes needing to wait a few mins for a space) :-).

The room appeared to be clean.
Struggled to breathe because of poor ventilation. No windows. The only foot ventilation was situated on the shin level
The only other alternative was to open the door all night.

The staff at the reception was nice and helpful.
The hot water in the shower isn't working, so I didn't enjoy that.
