Lovely cottage, comfortable and clean. Beautiful gardens, perfect location for exploring Tanunda, Barossa and wineries. It would have been good to have 3 nights firewood for a 3 night stay (ran out after 2 nights), other than that really interesting and gorgeous cottage.

A little disappointing
We were a little disappointed with our stay at Norma’s Place. We didn’t receive any check-in information about getting into the cottage. Luckily the front door was unlocked when we arrived but it would have been good to know this before we arrived to avoid the stress. Also when I rang the owner on the Sunday and didn’t get a response this was also disappointing. I understand the cottage is very old but it is extremely cold and I think the heating needs updating. On the plus side we appreciated the lovely bed and bath and plenty of towels. Also location is great.

Hidden in the middle of the Barossa valley, This historic cottage is centrally located and has everything you may need for a stay in the wine region of SA. The cottage was clean, and well presented. Beautiful cosy historical property, in a great location - very quiet but only a short walk to the main street. We loved the fireplace and the very kind welcome treats.Note that the shower is in the laundry around the side of the house, but there is a fabulous claw foot bath inside if you don't feel like braving the outdoors on a chilly day!We had a wonderful stay, thanks Fay!

Thoroughly enjoyable and memorable stay
It was a great experience to stay at this beautiful and well appointed cottage. The host has thought of everything to make the holiday one to remember. So many unexpected delights! The crystal port decanter, the bocce boules, the dressing gowns, the scented candles, the lovely wine and choccies. The cottage is a short walk to town and also the wonderful Chateau Tanunda - yet the location is quiet and peaceful.
Exploring the garden was another adventure, and the books were a great source of information and also a few laughs!
This was a couple of days that we won’t forget, and I whole heartedly recommend this property to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable Barossa experience.
