Nice hotel in great location

Property has a great location - close to main square but not too close - so a quiet area. Staff was especially helpful in every respect.

Does not offer early breakfast , even a simple one, when travelers have to leave early- such as going to the airport for a flight home.

Unfortunately, the heater could not be adjusted, so it was quite hot. Opening the window could be very noisy, so the air conditioning had to be kept on constantly.

An ideal resting place in the historic centre of Bruges

We had a twin room which was a decent size, tastefully decorated and good value for money. The location was perfect being only 5 minutes walk from the 2 main squares, canals/ boat ride starting point, restaurants, museums, bars and chocolate shops. Even the furthest location we had planned to visit was within 20 minutes walk. Yet it was a quiet location. There was a comprehensive and plentiful breakfast buffet which was frequently topped up. The hotel also had a stylish small bar plus a drinks and snack machine and water cooler available 24/7. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome.

For the price there is nothing we could fault with our stay.

Η χειρότερη εμπειρία μου σαν επισκέπτης σε ξενοδοχείο πήγαμε με φίλους δυο μέρες και μείναμε σε δυο δωμάτια στο συγκεκριμένο ξενοδοχείο . το πρωί της αναχώρησης μας ανακαλύψαμε ότι μια σακούλα με σοκολάτες από επώνυμο κατάστημα της πόλης είχε εξαφανισθεί . κατεβήκαμε στην ρεσεψιόν και αναφέραμε το γεγονός . η ρεσεψιονιστ την μονη απάντηση του έδωσε ήταν ότι οι υπάλληλοι καθαριότητας των δωμάτιων δεν αφαιρούν προσωπικά είδη των πελατών . μετα από πίεση και απειλές ότι θα καλέσουμε την αστυνομία ήρθε μετά από μισή ώρα η υπεύθυνη και μας ειπε τα ιδία ότι στο ξενοδοχείο τους δεν κάνουν λάθη οι υπάλληλοι τους. μετα από δική μας επιμονή άνοιξε τις κάμερες που έχουν στους διάδρομους και έπειτα από προσεκτική μελέτη είδε η υπεύθυνη του ξενοδοχείου ότι ένας νεαρός που εργάζεται στο καθάρισμα των δωμάτιων βγήκε με την σακούλα που είχε τα γλυκά και την εβαλε προσεκτικά σε μια άλλη σακούλα και την πήρε . αντί να μας ζητήσει συγνώμη για όλη την ταλαιπωρία το μόνο που συνέχεια μας έλεγε ηταν ότι δεν έγινε κλοπή αλλα ο υπάλληλος τα περασε για σκουπίδια . πρώτη φορά ακούω τέτοια γελοία δικαιολογία . δηλαδή σακούλα καταστήματος που μέσα έχει κουτιά με κορδέλες για δώρο κάποιος υπεύθυνος υπάλληλος την πέρασε για σκουπίδια. και στο φινάλε μας έβαλε στην έξτρα ταλαιπωρία να πάμε μέχρι το κατάστημα να ξαναγοράσουμε τα γλυκά και να της πάμε την απόδειξη για να μας αφαιρέσει το ποσό που κόστισαν από τον λογαριασμό μας. φυσικά για απόδειξή από την διαμονή μας ενώ την ζητήσαμε ούτε λόγος μας το αρνήθηκαν .μακριά και να προσέχετε τα πράγματα σας όσοι πάτε σε αυτό το ξενοδοχείο.

We really liked this hotel the receptionist was very friendly and obliging when we checked in. The hotel is very close to the centre of the old town. We had a very nice room up on the top floor which was very comfortable and had a very nice bathroom. The buffet breakfast was very nice with a very good choice.

Very enjoyable stay and would definitely stay there again

The breakfast very good with plenty of variety of foods to pick from. Perfect location. Staff very kind and helpful. Room lovely and clean and adequate for our needs. Able to leave our bags at the hotel the day we left until we were ready to leave Bruges

The main woman's toilet in the lobby had a broken seat and the sink really was too small therefore water all over the floor.

This is a gorgeous hotel five minutes from the central market in Brussels. The decor is stunning and manages to feel luxury but homely at the same time. Our room was cleaned everyday and tea/coffee replaced. On the first morning I’d left my pyjamas on the bed and when I came back they were folded nicely. Little extras like this made the hotel feel special. The staff are lovely, so friendly and accommodating. Gave plenty of honest tips about the city and let us borrow a plug adapter for the whole trip. Absolutely loved breakfast, great selection of Continental, cooked breakfast and sweet pastries/waffles. Loved it x

The location was great for us because we wanted to be close to the centre but one night we did notice quite a bit of noise from a bar across the road which went on until early hours. It was a weekend though and New Years Eve! So I don’t know if that’s the usual every weekend. This isn’t the fault of the hotel though, you just need to decide if it’s too close to the centre for you. It was silent throughout the weekdays and we slept great. The hotel itself was lovely and quiet, no rowdy guests etc so this isn’t a dislike about the hotel at all, but just something about the location.

Nice stay

Location was just superb. The receptionist lady provided very prompt service.

Everything was so good. Yet the only issue was that the tea bags were not replenished though we stayed for two nights.

A joy to be greeted every morning by the view of this treasure of a city from our window!

A lovely boutique-style hotel just just steps away from the main square, but quiet enough for a relaxing stay. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, and the room was spotlessly clean. Perfect!
