Hotel Meridiana is a beautiful and well maintained property on the Venice Lido steps from the beach. I was communicated with prior to my arrival and warmly welcomed by the reception. My room (a deluxe double) was huge and gorgeously decorated with blue Venetian prints. The bathroom was also huge and supremely clean with a great shower/bath and room for drying my bathing suits/towel from the beach. I loved staying so close to beach so I could walk over for a quick dip in the hot afternoons and it was a welcome escape from the crowds of Venice. The place itself is so relaxing and gorgeous at every turn. Plus they have an exceptional hot breakfast every morning from 8-1030 in the garden. I really loved my stay at this lovely hotel and all the Italian hospitality I received.
The hotel itself is a solid 15 minute walk from the ferry station which can be a bit far with luggage. So I’d advise planning ahead and packing light (big luggage is very hard in Venice in general) or arrange ahead of time for a taxi to transport anyone with mobility constraints.

The location is in a quiet neighborhood, but close to the beach and restaurants.
Our room was the best we have had in Italy.
Can’t think of anything bad to say.

The hotel has a very cozy feel to it and it is located in a very quiet area. Everything about the hotel has a warm romantic touch to it whether inside or outside. The breakfast area outside is beautiful and so is the reading room next to the reception desk. Both very relaxing.
Hotel is located very close to the gorgeous beach and only a 15 minute walk to the bus ferries to Venice as well the Main Street on Lido du Venezia.
The owner was very friendly and helpful and gave us a few tips about good restaurants close by.
We loved everything about this little gem.

Spacious, clean, quiet room, and helpful staff. Breakfast, 15 euro, offered a varied selection, and unusually good coffee (for being a hotel).

Great location right by the beach and a bit away from the busy center.
The staff was really helpful.

Beautiful hotel on a tranquil street. The rooms are quaint, spacious and comfortable. A special mention to the exceptionally friendly and helpful owners and staff!
Everything was perfect!

The hotel was really beautiful and we loved the view from the terrace. The highlight for us was the staff, particularly Stella - unfortunately we became unwell on the trip and they provided us with the doctors number, directions to the pharmacy and a bike to get there and some bland food to help us recover which was given free of charge. We were so grateful and it took so much pressure off of us. We would absolutely recommend.
The walls were a little thin - you could hear next door and downstairs quite a bit - but not so much that it kept us up!

first of all the receptionist Stella was extremely helpfulby by advising me how to get to the island and navigate the area, including tips for restaurants. I even got an upgrade on arrival. Personally I like the vintage style of the house and funiture, it's charming The location of the hotel is great, within walking distance to the vaporetti, 2 min to the beach, a calm neighborhood. You can leave your car outside. No problem. I enjoyed my stay very much and plan on coming back

First of the this is an old hotel. This is something you have to accept if you are coming to Lido or Venice. However, they did their best. It is clean, i mean really clean and well equipped with AC and amenities. The staff are quite friendly, they are trying to help with everything. By the way it is quite close to the beach.
Renovation might be nice

Lovely quirky hotel located no more than 3 minutes walk from the beach. Literally at the end of the road and 3 euro at the beach cafe for a coffee and brioche was a lovely way to start most mornings
Fantastic value for Money, I was a little concerned our small room wouldn't work for 9 nights but it did! As a corner room we were able to get a bit of a draft through which really was a godsend
We didn't need the staff very much but they were always very attentive and always had time to chat about our day/adventures.
Would certainly stay here again if we ever return to the Lido.
Our room didn't have a shower curtain it's easy to see why with the big beams but it was impossible to shower without soaking the floor
Air con lower than 24 degrees would have been nice. We were told this was centrally managed so could be changed which is fair enough, but that is still hot to us Brits!!
