Tag bot man uns Cappuccino an.

4.0
The staff and the pool and the peaceful atmosphere
Breakfast could be better- juice especially
3.5
Friendly and welcoming staff, amazing pool at the back of hotel with great nature scenery we preferred staying here over a small downtown city room during hot Italian summer, free parking, location is great only 10min by car from downtown Lucca. Breakfast 9 Eur/Person was reasonable.
Hotel pics show dark funiture rooms that look fancy, we did not get to see these. Our rooms were bright beige rooms for which they also have fantastic pictures, adjust expectations and you'll be fine, unrenovated with marks here and there and aged AC, but most important clean and ok for an overnight stay to visit Lucca. No or almost no Wifi inside room, only on the corridor (may matter to some). Rental fee of 5Eur/pool towel surprising, if you know you can prepare.

quiet location the staff were all lovely.
no soap! seriously. we were given 2 tiny packets of shower gel, after asking for soap. not really enough to wash your hands. air conditioner and fridge hardly worked.

Very bad experience
The rooms door didn’t lock. There was blood on the sheets probably from bed bugs. Hair in the shower and sink from previous guests. The lights in the hall way did not work. This place was terrible and at they did not refund us or make it right for us at all.

We did enjoy a little time around the pool; clean with lots of chairs. The front of house staff where friendly and accommodating. Nice little lounge area with a bar. Breakfasts were fine.
Limited evening menu, but lots of good choice nearby. Too bad the piano and little pool table were both past their prime.

Location was beautiful and quiet and breakfast had everything you could want!
Nothing to dislike

useful location with pleasant views
needed a bit of maintenance particularly in bedroom and bathroom

Nice quiet little hotel in a semi-rural location a few miles from fascinating Lucca. Generous buffet breakfast. We stayed an extra couple of nights. One of the best hotel swimming pools I have ever come across, unheated but great for a serious swimmer.
Wifi was a bit erratic
2.5
Swimming pool was the only highlight.
Really bad breakfast, uncomfortable bed, very old bathroom facilities, the rooms carried all the noise form the other rooms in. The A/C didn't work and it was very loud nonetheless. It says 4 stars but in more relatable terms it would rank 1 to 2 stars at most. I also don't like that they blocked the amount for the stay on my card the moment I made the booking even though it had free cancellation and they block the amount for 1 month but don't use the blocked amount and charge your card anew so that amount keeps being blocked for an entire month. It is a ridiculous practice.

very gentle staff, very clean room, swimming pool with the good temperature
the smell in room, not changing the towels and sheets every day
not well isolated from sound

Hotel is located few km from city of Lucca.
Quality of breakfast was not good. At least I expected good coffee from Italy, but didn’t get it.
We couldn’t sleep in the night, I think kitchen was located under our room, and I feel like I’m in the middle of the kitchen because of noises. And wifi in the room was disappearing.

Pleasant in that we wanted to stay in a more rural area, but certainly not 4 star as often described. Lovely coffee in the bar and very friendly waitress.
We were half board and would have expected water with our dinner, but sadly not! We were charged for this on top which for a so called 4 star hotel was poor, plus the set menu was the same each night. The place could be nice, but there are a lot of things they could be doing to make it better for the guests. We even had to ask for toilet paper twice. Service in the restaurant was a little unprofessional too. The bathroom door handle was broken and a little run down. Wouldn't recommend to friends as currently stands, but it was adequate for a short stay.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The pool was fine.
The WiFi was really terribly unstable. The breakfast was not good. The location of the hotel is ok, but not as good as I expected.
