The kindest and most efficient staff ever, lovely scenery, free parking

The hotel is located on the hill, about 10 minutes drive from La Spezia and offers free on-site parking, which was - as I was traveling by car - an important factor. I've been traveling for about 30 years, and I have never met hotel staff being so kind, helpful and efficient as in this hotel. One night there was a soccer game in La Spezia, which I was not aware of, and all the restaurants in the town and close by were booked, even food delivery was extremely slow (about 1,5-2 hours waiting time). When it seemed that I will be left with no dinner that evening, the lady at the reception went above and beyond to help me find a place to eat, and she even offered to share her own dinner with me!!!!! 😍

There is nothing to complain about. Only some tiny, unimportant details: I got the last available room, a room for 3. The interior is very simply, a little outdated, the bathroom is tiny, cramped (hard to imagine 3 people sharing), but the bed is comfortable, and to me that's what matters. The room has a large, sunny terrace that is shared with the gust of the other rooms. Breakfast is good, although it would be nice to see some other options than the usual sweet Italian breakfast, e.g. some fresh greens (tomato, lettuce, etc.), scrambled eggs, etc.

Polecam , super wypoczynkowe miejsce, świetna baza wypadowa do Cinque Terre.

Bardzo smaczne śniadania, chociaż niezbyt wielki wybór konkretnych dań, to tak po włosku duży wybór słodkich ciast, pysznych, świeżych, pachnących pieczonych codziennie przez właścicielkę. Właściciele i personel bardzo uprzejmi i pomocni. Lokalizacja na szczycie wzniesienia , więc do centrum miasta na nogach nie da rady, a zwłaszcza z powrotem pod górę ostro.... Ale super miejsce do odpoczynku, chodzenia po szlakach, świetna baza wypadowa na szlaki Cinque terre itp.

Excellent location, excellent staff, excellent breakfast ! The Eggs in the breakfast was amazing ! Home made, l gold color, amazing taste. The rooms was warm, excellent Wi-Fi and free and safe parking. Best choice in La Spezia !!!

Musty smell in the room. Small room. Old furniture, the shelf above the bad that you bump in to. The hotel is in need of renovation!

One night stay was pretty good

Breakfast was very nice, great coffee, juice, pastries. morning view from the balcony was beautiful.

The location is absolutely a hide place, especially at night. Navigator could not find it. Only local Italian old men was able to escort us to the hotel. God bless his soul.

Very kind staff. They told us where are good restaurants near the hotel. They told us also what is the best way to go to Cinque Terre and where is free parking near the train station. Breakfast was better than in the most hotels in this price range.

Nice place to relax 💙

It was really nice and calm, relaxing stay. They have single rooms for solo traveller. I really like the atmosphere of the town and hotel. It’s a bit far from the city, so it has been perfect place to relax. I also enjoyed breakfast. There is nice pizza place nearby, that pizza was so delicious. Definitely recommend here.

If you don’t have a car, it would be a bit difficult to get there. Since i didn’t drive a car, i got on local bus departing from la spezia staion. That bus doesn’t run very often, so you need to check the time table.

Exceptional

The hotel is on the top of the hill, in an area with great vegetation. The hotel has a retro style inside that we have enjoyed. Very clean, the staff very friendly and great breakfast. Close to the hotel downside there is a nice local restaurant with tasty fish and seafood. The view over the city and the seaside is troumendous from here. Also at the restaurant we have enjoyed the nicest white wine ever called Vermentino. We hope to return here someday.

The location is very bad. It is not so far from the center but the hotel is on a mountain, so getting it is a bit difficult. Although the place is almost in front of a bus stop, buses don't run frequently.

Charming hotel on the hill

Nestled up the hill from La Spezia, this charming hotel is a relaxing reprieve from the city life and city heat. The staff were also amazingly kind and helpful. Great to open the door and take in the mountain air from the balcony.
