Very stylish throughout; beautiful and interesting interior with very elegant features. The hotel is spotlessly clean.
Nothing. The hotel was perfect for us. The managers work extremely hard to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable.

It's just an all round exceptional place. The attention to detail of the bedrooms...from the toiletries, delicious coffee and biscuits to handwritten welcome note...The breakfast was a 10! When we arrived we had a lunch in the restaurant, again exceptional....Service and staff a 10. A special mention to the young bartender who made us some incredible cocktails. (The expresso martini and passion fruit Martini were up there in the category of sublime perfection...A gem of a place for us to have found. I highly recommend 👌 Thank you.
That we could not stay longer! Sadly it was just overnight. We will be back though.

Lovely hotel in a gorgeous town. Comfortable room and food excellent.
Although in description the pool was not available and has not been for some time. The only minus.

Fantastic Hotel Room amazing and private looking onto Bowling Green. Staff so friendly and Helpfull. Everthing clean and up market. Breakfast amazing. Location a short stroll into the Town Centre. Ample secure parking. One of the best weve stayed in for a short break will defo return. i explained that i am disabled and they moved us to a lower floor and offered assistance to get our bags into the room. We didnt need it as we were on the first floor.
No lift to higher rooms. Bar prices a little high and Credit Card only at the Bar and Resturant.

was just a one night stop over. Hotel is centrallly located with parking and a good breakfast in the morning. Perfect for my needs.
Rooms can be very warm. quick checkout process would be a great addition.

The breakfast was very good. Plenty to choose from and the staff were very pleasant.
The new decor is excellent and very relaxing.
No double glazing on the Windows to keep the street noise out. The duvet was for winter and to hot for this time of year.

Warm welcome, very nicely appointed and comfortable room with everything we needed! Breakfast was superb, cooked freshly and they customised my own cooked breakfast as I am gluten intolerant and went 'off menu'. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The bar/lounge was a superbly comfortable and well staffed 'buzz-y' area which was so pleasant to use for a pre-dinner drink with our friends - all in all a super hotel which we would return to without question!
Nothing really other than from a personal viewpoint there could have been more gluten free options on the dinner menu.

We were lucky to have a complimentary upgrade from a standard double to a very large double room. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet and clean. The breakfast was superb. And a bonus is on-site free parking.
The puzzling long corridor from the reception to the room.

Happy, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Comfortable room and modern dining room.
Creaky floorboards and noisy heating pipes.

Room excellent but needs a socket near to Bed to charge phone.
Breakfast good with excellent service
Despite there being a Distillery about 2 miles away no sign of the Gin,you really should be supporting your local business more.
Restaurant issues, 1 Not shown to table, not handed Menu at that point and no drinks order asked for.
Service very slow and drinks were forgotten and i had to remind staff plus Bouillabaise was poor, prawn overcooked and not deveined no hint of Pastis in a most unusual sauce. More attention needed to Menu and maybe have separate Menus for Lunch and Evening as it becomes confusing.

beautiful old coaching inn, fabulous food and drink and the staff were absolutely lovely.

At breakfast on Sunday I found a 5cm piece of thin wire in my porridge - it was alarming and luckily I didn’t swallow it. Really quite a nasty experience. The manager Chris said that morning it was unacceptable and he would look into it and get back to me that day. No contact as yet over two days later - and I’m not that happy to have paid for breakfast either! A real shame as the staff were lovely and a great hotel otherwise.

Location excellent and central. All staff extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Both breakfast and evening meals were delicious and was lovely to be served at the table for breakfast with a great choice.
Room a little too hot but we did have a fan supplied.

Clean and well presented hotel, Well equipped and matched my expectations.
the food was excellent but I thought the menu was from a lower class establishment rather than from the type of hotel with 4 stars.
