Prima plek om te overnachten en te dineren

Prachtig ruime kamer, heerlijke bedden, geweldig aardig personeel en lekker diner en ontbijt

Fabuleux.

Superbe endroit dans un joli petit village sur La Vaux. L'accueil et le service étaient super, tout comme le repas du soir et le petit-déjeuner. À recommander sans aucune hésitation.

A good stop-over

A beautiful room with all comforts and kettle. Public parking outside the property.

Outside terrace not really open (but out of season). No dinner choices on the second night (Monday) just a set menu. Service in the restaurant slow on the Sunday night. It was busy but there was only one person serving- two full dining rooms - a commendable effort.

Superb

I liked this hotel a lot. Old world charm, big room, spotlessly clean and friendly staff in a very nice village/small town. The hotel also has a nice traditional restaurant. The restaurant was very good. The icing on the cake was being able to park my motorcycle in their garage. A big thank you for that.

The staff was super friendly, despite our language barrier (we don't speak French) - we arrived late due to heavy traffic and they politely allow us to have dinner on arrival Good restaurant on site and super nice breakfast in the morning Electric car charging point available in front of the hotel

A warm, welcoming hotel with excellent facilities and priced very reasonably.

Welcoming; exceptionally clean; room was spacious with high ceilings which made it feel very airy. The wooden decor of the property was excellent- finished to a very high standard. Staff could not have been more helpful.

Perfect stopover for a driving tour; a friendly comfortable hotel with great food.

|Our room in the annex seemed brand new and was huge. Supper was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

With such a big room, they could have had a larger bath and shower.

Old Inn with spacious rooms

The rooms were large, light and very comfortable. High beamed wooden ceilings gave the room an enormous spaciousness. The bed was very good and firm. The large open bathroom had a rainshower. The breakfast was varied and fresh. We also had dinner in the restaurant. Very tasty and creative.

A great pleasure to be back at the Auberge!

We have been revisiting this auberge over a twenty year period. We love the ambience and its location in a delightful small town in the Ardennes region of France. If you like a hotel with history as well as modern comforts, where you can enjoy a distinctive French cuisine in the evening, then this is the place to stay!

Pleasant little hotel with very friendly owners and staff and greta food. This time, the choice in the restaurant was limited due to difficulties getting staff, but this the same everywhere at the moment and they did a great job. the new rooms are very comfy.

Excellent value for money.

The staff were very nice and friendly, and it was a lovely quiet location.The room we stayed in was excellent value for money, the proprietor could easily have charged more and we would have paid it.Food and wine were excellent value.

We both enjoyed it greatly

Room lovely and a very good size, bathroom very good. Staff excellent. Location right in the centre of the village as we wanted. Breakfast excellent!

A pleasant one night stop.

Our room was a large comfortable barn conversion with everything required for a comfortable stay. For motorcyclists there is a large secure garage. The breakfast was good quality. overall it is a pleasant place to stay

We weren’t informed until we actually arrived that there was only ONE item available on the menu. Because of this we had to have a pizza in a local bar.

Wi-Fi was a bit patchy but this was a minor inconvenience against an otherwise excellent stay.
