Ok but over priced

breakfast amazing lovely location

Mold on bathroom ceiling hole in wall not fully fixed hardly any room to move gap round door letting light in which disturbed sleep

nice location with friendly staff , good value for money

most of the stay was very good

waiting 3 hours to check inn despite being told they were not busy price for breakfast was not clear, as looked like different items might be charged as individual item on menu

Brilliant. Food Brilliant. Attended for family birthday party

Everything clean, well presented. Staff very friendly and helpful

The bed was too soft left with backache. Also no other means if getting to 2nd floor rooms than just using stairs

Lovely place to stay, no problems, just nice and relaxed

Lovely clean room, friendly helpful staff, nice atmosphere, lovely location. Breakfast was delicious, with outstanding sausages! Good selection. We also had an evening meal here which was great

Fabulous birthday weekend

Brilliant location brilliant hotel staff excellent we had the deluxe 4poster bed room it was wonderful we reserved a table for our evening meal and also breakfast the following morning again brilliant will definitely recommend

Fabulous place for a weekend stay

Beautiful spotlessly clean room with view over the river. All the food was good and freshly cooked. Lovely outside terrace (although a bit cold in October!)

Bar service on a very busy Saturday night was a bit erratic

Perfect - Highly Recommended.

The food was excellent, breakfast and evening meal.The staff were extremely friendly. The rooms were clean and of a very high standard. Thank you.

A very pleasant overnight stop near Shrewsbury

The rooms were spacious, clean and in very good decorative order. Despite being above the restaurant and bar, the room was quiet. The room was comfortable and the bathroom fine. The hotel is across the river from Shrewsbury with nice views, but requires transport to get to Shrewsbury centre.

I would have preferred a walk-in shower. No other concerns at all.

Extremely clean and very good homemade food.

Food was excellent,piping hot and home cooked and very good value.The accommodation was extremely clean.

Good location, great for 1-2 night stay

Very convenient for the Town but in a country setting. Superb value for money, Great to have EV charging available. Good parking available.

Room was a little bit smaller than some of the others we have had there, but comfortable enough. Door handle was almost falling off and should have been repaired because we could have been shut in so a potential risk
