Free transfer, Host is very charming and nice 😊
Very loud, without ear plugs sleeping is impossible. The bed is not the best. Tiny room and tiny bathroom. The aircon was not working properly.

They could not have been more helpful. Waiting at Airport to pick me up. Then on my final day invited me to keep my room until they took me back to the Airport at 7pm. I feel that the lady is now a good friend and hope to return next year. oh and the view from the balcony is fabulous
For the price I paid it is fantastic value

The air conditioner didn’t work, so slept poorly.

It is Michael and his son George that make this accommodation, they were over and above helpful, especially when I ran into a real problem.
The property is basic but clean, had a great view from my room and I think if they could put some simple extra touches, like a kettle with cups, tea, coffee making facilities, a hairdryer in the room would really upgrade, for little effort. Great shower, that you can attach to wall which is a rarity in Skiathos. Plenty of toilet paper, another rarity.
Tip for the property, steps outside property, needed to have edges painted in white..at the moment they are all over grey and difficult to see the edge and different levels.
Highlight the steps, as other places do..serious accident waiting to happen.

It was really cheap and in a very good place in town.
It was a short walk to most places.

The bathroom was very small

Very close to the port and city center, but quite. Nice view and very kindly owner.

very close to the town, excellent view.
the location is very difficult to reach, climbing up and down too many stairs is a nightmare. The staff was barely seen, it was the first time, I neither did check in or check out.
Promises were made to get us to the port, unfortunately no one ever showed up. the room was prehistoric with old and damaged equipment.

Another staff member proved to be much more in tune with what tourists require.
He apologized and was respectful ...he gave us lovely little olive oil soaps as a souvenir of our stay😊👍👍👍
Ageism.
We were shown to an alternative room that faced the street ...brick walls opposite, dingy, no view, stuffy and noisy.
The hostess assumed because of our ages we wouldn't want the room with a view we booked as it was at the top of a flight of stairs.
We were not consulted.
Only when we ardently protested did we get the room we booked. We had to make a fuss.
The stairs never bothered us as we are fit and healthy.

The owner insisted on bringing us from the airport as access to the property is difficult and taxi drivers might refuse.
The property is not suitable for people with heavy suitcases.

Friendly host who waited us at Port and helped us get to the airport. Location is close (5min) to the main street, little bit more when coming back.
First bus stop of local bus transport is also close and by bus you can reach almost all beaches at Skiathos. Busses drive until midnight so you can stay on the beach as long as you want and get back to the town for pleasant evening.
Many good restaurants in nearby area.
Room was cleaned every day. Air-conditioning worked really good which is a must in July.
Room could be a bit bigger.

Great location, comfortable bed, nice view, lots of hot water, beautiful ceiling, good value for money. Cleaner was excellent.
Check-in was problematic. The owner needs a smartphone. Didn’t know I’d booked that day. However, he was apologetic and helpful. TV and air conditioning didn’t work. No hotel sign. Took 40 minutes to locate.

After the initial unfortunate mix-up at the airport pickup, we met with Micahel on the road just below the apartment building, where he loaded our luggage on his vespa and scootered it up the climb. Due to the aforementioned mixup, he was kind enough to upgrade our room with the one with the large terrace after the first night. Both rooms had a great view of the Skiathos port area, the sea, and the terrace was beautiful. The proximity of the riviera, port and the old town is a big plus, both being a minute or two walk away. The rooms are very clean, and they kep cleaning it and changing the towels every day.
Agnantema is a mixed bag, but its a mix bag of treats, with a sour one mixed in. The bad:
The rooms are located on a hill, accessed from the road through a very steep inclanation from the main road on one side, or a set of steep stairs from the side of the old town. A second set of Greek style half-assed, crooked and steep stairs await either option just before the entrance to the building. The Agnantema rooms are right on the EDGE of old town, not IN the old town, and the immediate surrounding is not nice to look at. Half-built conrete bulidings, old hotel in disrepair, rusting rooftops. The rooms are very small with furniture from the 80' or 90's, including the tiny CRT tube TV. The showers are small, and the old curtain, which was cleaned only god knows when, sticks to your body while you shower.

The room was very nice and with seaview, even if I did not pay that, they gave it to me just because it was free! Such a nice gesture!
Also, the owner is a very good man, he helped me with the luggage from another hotel, bringing me bottles of water to have in the fridge. Bedsheets and towels changed every day even if I stayed only for 3 nights. Cleaning the room every day, all impeccable.
They made me feel so welcome, like home. I want to come back to Skiathos just to stay there again.
Location is perfect, right in the middle of the port, on the hill, super seaview. Close to everything.
It was perfect.

One of the best features of the accommodation is the amazing view from its balcony. From there you can see all the bay, yatchs and boats anchor on the sea, islands front of you, and sometimes some airplanes taking off or landing in Skiathos airport.
Perhaps the narrow balcony’ space and the little room’s dimensions
4.5
A really good overall
The cold water in the shower had a little low pressure and sometimes maybe the sound isolation from the other rooms not very good but thise was not enough to say that my stay at the room was not enough pleasant. I would come back to the same room.
