Très décevant

L’emplacement idéal

Le personnel attend que l’on ai payé la chambre pour nous annoncer que la climatisation n’est pas incluse et qu’il faut payer 10 € supplémentaires, par jours !! De plus, lorsque nous avons prolongé notre séjour d’une nuit supplémentaire, le personnel nous a informé que nous devions changer de bungalow. À l’heure du check out lorsque nous avions quitté la chambre, il n’était finalement plus nécessaire d’en changer. La moindre des choses aurait été de prévenir avant que nos bagages soient pliés ! Très mauvaise organisation du personnel. Les bungalow et les équipements ne sont pas propres du tout, en plus des odeurs nauséabondes qui proviennent de la salle de bain.

Superb

Really good location beside beach and evening streets. Rooms spotless. Staff so helpful - helped us book ferry tickets and sort travel. Booked day trips with them too. No pool because it is used for diving training so not really available for guests. All the extras provided if needed - umbrellas, beach towels etc. Would stay here again.

Shower was a bit dribbly but did the job eventually!

Great PRICE-PERFORMANCE ratio, friendly and very accommodating staff, fast Wifi, location directly at the beach and at beginning of walking street, great infrastructure around hotel, only the beach was not suitable for swimming as the water level is very low.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, I cannot say it was a great experience. We had booked a bungalow, but upon arrival, we were informed that it was not available. While the hotel staff did provide us with an alternative room, it was a bit disappointing as we had specifically chosen the bungalow for our stay. The hotel's central location is convenient, but it also means that the party music from nearby establishments can be heard well into the night. This made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. To make matters worse, we experienced a leak from the fridge in our room that caused damage to some of our electronics. While the hotel staff attempted to fix the issue, they did not offer to compensate us for the damages caused. We also rented scooters from the hotel, but they were in very poor condition. The brakes were not functioning properly and the scooter was making strange noises, which made for a stressful and unsafe ride. On top of all this, there was construction going on right infront of the hotel during our stay, which made the entire property very dusty. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience. While the staff did their best to address some of the issues we encountered, the combination of noise, poor quality amenities, and lack of accountability for damages made for a less than pleasant stay.

Great time at Silver Sand Resort!

Great place to stay! Good value for money and the location is great, too! I‘d come back and stay again if I ever come back to Koh Tao.

The first nights were really quiet, but after NYE there was a party every night at nearby bars. Not the hotels fault, but if you‘re looking for something super quiet, then better get something more outside Sairee beach.

The beach bungalows get super hot - you will want to pay the extra to get air conditioning.

Spacious bungalow near the beach. Friendly staff and available. Great rates for renting bikes.

The position is near few disco clubs therefore there's loud music until midnight (or later).

Cosy bungalow on a paradise beach!

From the minute we arrived we were welcomed and greeted with kindness. We were able to have an early check in and we’re given cold water bottles whilst we filled in our details. We spent 3 nights here and we loved it, the location was perfect and our bungalow was so cosy with a hammock on the porch. We got laundry done at the resort and it was ready same day by the afternoon. The main reason we loved our stay because of the friendliness of the staff, they were amazing. Thank you!

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property, one thing that could improve it is if they provided hair dryers but we managed perfectly fine without!

incredible, fun, and the best staff!!

Throughout our month in Thailand, this was the experience I remembered. Odi the manager was a true gentlemen, who was available at almost all hours and was truly caring for our needs. The bungalows, not only quite fitting and enjoyable with the aesthetic of the beach, they were in a perfect location in regards to roaming the island, being only a stones throw from the family’s sairee beach! Just a testament to how friendly the staff were, the owner, Odi said to me when we rented the bikes from the hotel (also a great idea for travelling around the island) “I don’t mind about the bikes, they can be replaced, I just want you guys to be safe and okay”. I think that’s what summed up our incredible experience at Silver Sands! Thank you Odi, Sean and the Irish Lads

Ody was SO helpful. If I needed something, I only needed to ask. He even responded to my early arrival by coming to pick me up at the pier. When I couldn’t find my flip flops, he immediately located them. The bed was comfy in the room. They gave me an extra fan. No complaints. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location! Basic rooms but still comfortable and a good size, it was also very clean and the bed was good, I slept very well. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Odi the manager dropped me off at the pier on his motorbike when I left with no charge. I really appreciated this kind gesture.

I stayed in room 207 and the Wi-Fi was not strong in this room. It would probably be okay for general searching but it was not strong enough for me to work online unfortunately.

Close to nightlife and the beach

If you’re staying here for the nightlife then this is probably perfect for you. We stayed here for 5 nights and it’s rather noisy as you are so close to the bars. The room we had was one of the bungalows, it was very basic but wasn’t overly clean. There were bugs in the bathroom which weren’t a massive problem for us as we had bug spray. There was a hole in the floor that had been patched up with duct tape by the bathroom door and the water pressure was basically non existent. We were only really using the room to sleep in but the staff were helpful and friendly.

Floor patched up with duct tape. Blood stain on toilet seat. Water pressure was non existent. Bugs everywhere.

Staff at the reception was very nice and helpful with Everything. They organized a tour for us, booked our transport and there was a free hotel shuttle! Location is Great, and the bungalow was okay aswell. We had a nice stay
