The staff where exceptional and the property is beautiful.
Nothing.

Location, ambience very relaxing
When went walk the over bridge under trees was dangerously slippery this needs looking at

Breakfast was more than adequate for us. I love the quirky style of the dining area and the hotel generally. It's very comfortable and relaxing particularly being away from the central city.
The verandah area upstairs could have a little extra spring clean now that summer is here.

The style being very different like medieval
No cooked breakfast

Quirky hotel. Basic breakfast included. Would love to come and enjoy it in summer.
They have those terrible tiny cups so bring your own!
Saloon style door on the bathroom.

The room, architecture, ambience, touches like towels in the communal bathrooms, staff were friendly although short staffed. Very close to fieldays. It felt quite luxurious. Loved the continental breakfast. Comfy bed.
Sadly Friday night they had to close the bar early and the platters ran out. They'd had a big night the day before. The driveway was narrow if you met someone.

Did not use the breakfast option on this occasion. Location was excellent as it was close to Mystery Creek where an event was being held.

Lovely location, with tranquil trees and bush surround, close to airport and not too far from Hamilton. Unique and rustic buildings. Spacious room and a great jacuzzi bath. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast included. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
Very minor but open plan area hard to heat so was a tad nippy in the dining area having breakfast.

The interior style and the architecture were beautiful. It was nice and peaceful and the pillows we're definately the most comfortable I've slept on at a hotel. Staff were also lovely and friendly 😊
I think the only thing was the practicality of the rooms. We ended up having to plug the jug in behind the bedside to table to boil it which was a bit weird. Otherwise everything else was great!

Location was great for us, beautiful setting, quiet and very comfortable.

The room was comfortable and clean. Staff were helpful when I couldn't get the TV working. Breakfast had good healthy choices with plenty available. I liked the stewed fruits, yogurt, cereals, toast and jams.
This property would be challenging for anyone with a mobility problem. Particularly the aged and people with a disability. Stairs everywhere including several levels to negotiate in the rooms. Walls are thin and can hear other guest's conversations. This became annoying when guests above me were up and about at 6.30am and the Squeeky floors are a nuisance when they are moving about in their room.

The out of town quietness.
The staff were amazing.
And the view was nice.
We could hear everything from the other rooms.
Windows were hard to figure out how to close.
