Superb

ALL WENT WELL> THE FEMALE WORER " ELAINE " DARK HAIRED YOUNG WOMAN < WAS EXCEPTIONALLY KIND TO ME> I ENJOYED MY STAY VERY MUCH> THE GARDENS ARE VERY NICE TOO>

ONLY ONE THING I WOULD FIND FAULT WITH WOULD BE THE OVER THE BATH SHOWER, NOT BEING TERRIBLY STEADY ON MY LEGS, THE WAS A BIT TOO HIGH FOR MY LEGS TO GO OVER. I DID MANAGE IT BUT WAS A BIT HIGH FOR ME> THE SHOWER WAS GOOD AND THE BATH WAS FINE UNFORTUNEATLEY I AM UNABLE TO GET OUT ANY BATH.

We WILL be back again

The staff were so friendly, we were there for a family party and you were all so helpful and went that extra mile to help all of us enjoy the party and our stay.

Exceptional

This is a family run hotel, all the staff we encountered were most helpful and had time to talk and be of assistance to us. The food was excellent and the service first class.

We were only able to stay one night but do intend to return.

I couldn't have picked a better hotel, ideally located and very welcoming and comfortable

My breakfast was excellent, and my room was clean and comfortable, and dinner also excellent

Nothing could have been better. Everything was exactly as required.

Fantastic relaxing break,very welcoming,staff very friendly and helpful,food fantastic and well presented waiting and Bar staff very attentive,room very comfortable and clean...booked again for a visit September...Jean and Billy.

A pleasant return to the South Beach.

Really accessible room for me. On the ground floor. Fab breakfast. Fresh Berries were so refreshing. Cooked meal was really good.

No complaints. Carpet in the bedroom a bit tatty, but dogs are allowed.

Friendly and clean but dated.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Hotel very clean.

Hotel is dated and tired. Room not too warm but fan heater provided after first night. Some fire door propped open.

South Beach Hotel - Great stay!

Received a very warm welcome on arrival and this standard of service was maintained throughout our stay. Had a spacious and well appointed twin room with a lovely view towards Ailsa Craig. Breakfast was delicious, using a number of locally sourced ingredients. Highly recommended!

The shower in Room 210 needs replaced - virtually no pressure.

Great location and facilities for tourists or golfing

Excellent location for town or golf. Excellent facilities for golfers such as drying room and storage. Nice breakfast included in the price. Bar and restaurant facilities looked good though I didn’t actually use them. Staff very efficient and helpful.

Very little, if anything a slight lack of sound proofing but not bad enough to spoil the visit.

Staff were lovely, breakfast was amazing, great outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine. Room was very comfortable and clean. Great location, close to beach and short walk to shops and restaurants.

Lovely hotel close to the town and beach, had a very nice two night stay with my wife. Staff very friendly and made us feel welcome.

Our booking for Saturday night was lost so we did not get a sea view. The hotel had a large family group staying which dominated proceedings. We felt pushed out of our room and even for breakfast the better part of the breakfast room was reserved for the ‘family’. We were given a room above the celebration room where loud music was played til after midnight. I suggest that the hotel does not take bookings from the public if the venue is going to be dominated by one party. Wouldn’t dream of staying here again!

Fantastic dog friendly stay

south beach hotel was located a stones throw from the beach the staff were welcoming and friendly. we had a lovely stay and would go back. We travelled with our small dog and were made to feel very welcome, we were able to have breakfast and dinner with our dog and the area was set up for us in the morning. We felt very welcome.

Lovely venue with excellent staff and food

The staff are first-rate, the location is great and the food in the dining room was excellent. They had the best haggis I've ever tasted.

Nice hotel but a bit soured by room mix up

The staff were friendly, the room and bathroom very roomy, and the location was good.

We'd booked a double bedroom that said sea view, garden view. We got a twin room with no sea view. When we asked reception they apologised but said no double rooms left and that there was a problem with the booking.com listing.

Really enjoyable, hotel, staff and food were all great.

Staff were very friendly and obliging. The hotel was excellent. Great to see the hotel survived the pandemic and we had a great 2 night stay. Food was excellent.
