Great family friendly hotel

Fantastic hotel in a quiet part of Karterados. Easy to get to Fira by walking or bus, as well as many other tourist destinations using public transport. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. There are plenty of food and shopping facilities close by too. The breakfast was great and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean. I would recommend this to any other families visiting the area.

Posizione ottima non c'è zona migliore se si vuole visitare tutta l'isola. Lo staff é stato molto cordiale e disponibile.

La nostra stanza era molto diversa rispetto alle foto. Fuliggine negli angoli e tenda sporca. Bagno piccolo temuto molto male, poco illuminato con fuliggini e ragnatele negli angoli e sulle luci. Colazione basilare con prodotti, a mio avviso, di scarsa qualità. Buono solo lo yogurt. Mancava una soluzione per vegani e in generale le info sui prodotti.

Fantástico alojamiento muy bien comunicado

Localización, comodidad, gran tranquilidad y atención excelente y disponibilidad de todo el personal. Desayuno correcto. Bien comunicado: se puede caminar a Firá en 10 min y hay parada de bus en las inmediaciones a todos los destinos de la isla. Buenas opciones de restauración cercanas. Altamente recomendable y con una muy buena relación calidad precio.

Baja presión de agua en la ducha.

Friendly staff, clean atmosphere and average Breakfast.

The beds seems to be old, could be better. Even though we had booked a double bed, 2 single beds were joined to make it a double one, which obviously didnt work well. The toilet flush had problem, but the friendly staff asked us to just bang on the watertank, after whcih it worked.

the location was great, just far enough away from the crowds, yet close enough to the areas you want to see.

a slight sewer odor in the room the beds were a bit hard, and the breakfast was just toast, cheese and ham.

Pleasant

Rooms are small and the bathroom even more so. But for a few days in Santorini, it’s absolutely fine. And the kindness of the owners more than makes up for it! They helped us perfect our itinerary around the island, and recommended his friend at Moto Denis when we wanted to rent a scooter. He was very kind as well, and accommodated us with a delivery at the hotel just 5 minutes later, and he came and picked up the scooter in Fira downtown for our convenience. Rooms have good air conditioning and the breakfast is decent with bread, ham and cheese, cereals and Greek yogurt. We recommend this hotel if you are looking for a not so expensive but decent option in Santorini. Even if you are not in Fira or Oia, the kind services they propose make you perfectly independent from the start to the end.

Good value for price

The location is very good, 2 minutes from bus station and pretty quiet area. The staff is very polite and helpful. The breakfast has only few choices, you can make some sandwiches. The rooms are cleaned every day. The balconies have sea view, also there is a small terrace at the entry you can use it.

The bathroom is too small. The walls are not sound insulated so you can hear noise from hall.

We were warmly welcomed when we arrived location not far from the road as the hotel told us since be used the local bus from the airport 😎🤓🥰😍 I really want to appreciate the manager as he made us super comfortable for extending our stay. We will definitely come back 😍😍🥰🥰😘

Lovely structure in the quiet village of Karterados, just 15-20 minutes walking on foot to Thira.

I really liked room dimensions: it was big and also had a big terrace, though the view wasn't so good (I got a room looking in the backyard). Nothing was missing in the room, which was also really silent, fresh at night and with a cosy furniture. Essential but good and healthy international breakfast included in the price. Reception always available for suggestions. Bus stop nearby, for all the main destinations on Santorini: you just need to walk 5 minutes towards the main route, but, if you prefer, it is very easy to rent a bike or car in the village.

I found ants on the pavement the day of my arrival. It is normal, okay, since the structure is, someway, in the countryside of Karterados, but I really didn't expect them. Anyway, they soon did help me solving the problem.

Nice little hotel in karteros

The host was really helpful and welcoming ! He takes time to explain us how Santorini works ! The hotel was well located ( 15min by walk from fira, where you can take all the buses. )

The staff was very nice and helpful, they helped us with everything we needed. The room was clean and had a nice balcony. It wasn’t very big, but since we were there just to sleep, it was ok. If you’re planning on renting a car, the hotel has a parking lot, which is a plus on Greek islands!! Sometimes it’s a headache just to park the car.

Wi-Fi range wasn’t that good. Location isn’t bad (10min walking to Fira, which is the center of Santorini), but it’s a bit confusing if you’re relying on public transportation to get around. Some buses stop at Karterados, some don’t. All buses stop at Fira, so sometimes you need to catch a bus just as a connection bus (or you can walk). Breakfast could be better.

The location was pretty good - walkable to Fira downtown (about 20 mins)

I expected the view from the room would be better - but maybe this is good enough for what you paid! The bathroom was pretty old but it’s still acceptable for me.
