Perfect location, gorgeously renovated and fantastic breakfast. We would certainly stay at The Old Dairy again.

The Old Dairy is situated in a beautiful rural setting approached by very winding lanes approximately 10mg a from the A38. I received a very warm welcome from the owner. My room was very comfortable, extremely clean, linen and towels fantastic. Being away from main roads, the room was very quiet. Cooked breakfasts available although I had continental which was great. Tea and coffee available in bedroom. You can purchase drinks and snacks; an honesty box is provided and proceeds are for charity. The gardens are amazing as are the views across The Quantocks. Liz and Steve are approachable and extremely helpful…..super hosts. Thoroughly recommend a visit.
The one small niggle is that there were not enough wardrobe hangers. It is important for visitors to have ample hanging space for their clothes. At least 10 hangers would be considered adequate.

Outstanding location a delightful setting and atmosphere.

A very tranquil location. The accomodation comprised a converted barn - spotlessly clean with modern facilities. The shower was hot and powerful, a small honesty bar was available and a comfortable bed with crisp white linen. Breakfast was excellent - we both had cooked breakfasts and the quality of the food was good. The host (Liz) was very personable and made us feel welcome. In short, if you are thinking about booking we would recommend unreservedly.

Lovely B&B. We stayed in the family suite with our 2 grandsons aged 7 and 2. The room was lovely, very clean and comfy. We were given lots of info on local places to eat etc which was very useful. Breakfast was delicious and Liz had catered for our dairy free grandson which was much appreciated. Very child friendly breakfast. Our 2 year old enjoyed the toys in the dining room! Beautiful garden which we enjoyed a walk ( boys ran..!) around. Would recommend and if we’re in the area again will be booking to stay.
No negatives.

Oh what a wonderful bed!!! must get the recipe for the breakfast bread

Delightful location on the edge of a hill. Warm welcome and exceptionally comfortable well-proportioned room with a huge really incredibly comfortable bed. Best sleep for years and woke to birdsong. Real coffee grounds available for excellent coffee. Fresh warm croissant for breakfast. Could go on - really lovely place.
Almost faultless. Due to Covid, breakfast was served in room, delicious but a bit sparse for my taste - could have done with the option of a bit of baguette and butter in addition to the croissant, some fresh fruit, perhaps a hard boiled egg and some freshly-squeezed fruit juice.

Liz was very welcoming and helpful.
The room and bathroom were lovely.
No hot water due to a power cut.
Wifi was patchy.
