Quarto espaçoso e atendimento primoroso.
Localização um pouco afastada do centro da cidade.

Great quiet location, a little off the Camino route but we didn’t find it a problem.
The place is lovely with a great gardens and a pool. Its not heated and the weather wasn’t warm enough to get in it, but it a was nice place to sit.
The rooms are well furnished and clean. We had a problem with our shower but we were moved to another room straight away without any fuss.
The host Isabela is enormously friendly and helpful. We were driven to a restaurant in the evening where we had a very tasty and great value pilgrims meal. When we were driven back afterwards there was a bottle of port waiting for us and our fellow guests- nice touch.

Fantastic location and exceptionally peaceful. The staff were wonderful and went the extra mile to make your stay as comfortable as possible and organise transport to and from the local tavern for our evening meals. Isabel, our host has been one of the highlights of my Camiño. She saved the day with all of her efforts to retrieve a mobile phone that I had misplaced.
All in all, I will miss the friendliness and generosity of the rural people of Northern Portugal - Thank you all.

the hostess was so accommodating. the Property was quite far from the only bar nearby to eat. So they ordered a taxi and took us there and picked us up.

Beautiful location, interesting and nicely done building with sweet chapel.
We were walking the Camino and it’s 1km from the Quinta, but Isobel kindly picks one up from Camino and will drop you back in the morning.

The Quinta is a km off the Camino. If you are walking the Way you need to go to the Roman Bridge and then look for a road on your left. We didn’t do this and had a much longer walk than we needed to. Once there we were charmed by the Quinta’s peaceful grounds and views of rolling hills and vineyards. Isabelle and her family welcomed us and were very accommodating. There was a plumbing problem but she quickly came to triage the situation. Her breakfast was excellent and she drove us back to the Camino in Rubaies the next morning.

Owner went out of her way to please us, she could not have been more helpful.

As pilgrims walking the way to Santiago we did stay there for a night. It’s just a short walk away from the official way. The next day the owner drove us to the nearest entry point, to return on our journey. You also have to acknowledge that they drove us to the nearest restaurant in the evening.
The place itself is huge. The garden is well-kept and there is a pool to sooth the pain from walking the whole day. The staff or more the less the family owning the place is very friendly and the hospitality is outstanding. They were always courteous and helping. I hope that some pilgrims may be inspired by mine and the other good reviews to stay there for a night (or two). Sure it’s not a hostel, but for the price you pay you get a whole lot to refill your batteries.
Nothing. Really nothing to complain.

Owners were very kind and helped us dry our very wet clothes and shoes. They also arranged a lift into and back from the village where we had dinner. There were a couple of bottles of port waiting to warm us on our return! Breakfast was good. Rooms were quite large and well appointed.
We were walking the Portuguese Camino and it was raining extremely hard, so arrived very wet and cold. Unfortunately the rooms were a bit chilly when we arrived.
