Die Unterkunft liegt genau auf dem Camino , wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Dame des Hauses hat sich rührend um uns gekümmert.

Good value individual rooms. Staff drove us to/from a local restaurant. The morning breakfast was social and adequate.
The rooms were cold and the bathrooms were dilapidated.

Basic and clean facilities on the Portuguese camino route. They organised a minibus to take us to a nearby restaurant in the evening as the location is very rural.

Rooms overlooked the countryside, a nearby restaurant provided transport to his restaurant.
Breakfast was poor, tap water was served in mineral bottles, carpets were not clean and you have to request for the A/C remote

Allt jag behövde fanns där! Trevligt med balkong!
Lite stressig incheckning när man kom med hund. Hade varit skönt att få checka in själv.

After days of sleeping in dorms, having a single room here felt like a stay in a 5 star hotel. Especially because the room had a balcony with a beautiful view facing the mountains. It was so beautiful to sit there during dusk and listen to all the noises nature has to offer. I really enjoyed my night here. Also, having my own bathroom was a nice surprise.

Low price, but you get what you pay for. Decent breakfast included. Located directly at the Camino. Shuttle to and from dinner restaurant included
Room is one step above hostel. My bathroom had a terrible sewage smell, my friend's shower door fell off. The lady who ran the place was no nonsense and a bit bossy.

Room had a nice view and a balcony. It is on the Camino.
The breakfast was sufficient and the price was low.
No food is available in the evening, but you can eat in a near by cafe at lunch time and transport to a restaurant is available.
The shower cubicle needed maintenance and the coffee at breakfast was very weak.

There is not much to the town of Paredes de Coura so it is a luxury to have a nice, simple place to rest after slogging thru on the Camino on a bike. Our host was very nice and helpful. We had a place to store our bikes.
I would not sign up for the massage therapist again (her sign is at reception/host calls her to hotel). Her technique is very very very soft and not beneficial to those looking for relief from overworked muscles/those looking for deep muscle therapy.

Very accommodating host, we arrived early and she gave us our room.
Basic comfortable en suite room with double doors opening onto countryside, with balcony.
Breakfast provided automatically.
We were offered a lift to and from local restaurant which was very good.
Pharmacy next door.
Overall, a very pleasant experience, right on Camino.
Nothing!

Leave it as soon as possible early in the first light of the morning
We arrived at the hostel on a hot day, 12:00 noon. Mrs. Grumpy slammed the door on us and allowed us to wait outside in the sun until one o'clock in the afternoon. After half an hour she opened the door for us muttering complaints that we disturbed her at lunch. She led us to a smelly and dirty room, cobwebs in every corner, a bathroom we didn't dare to bathe in. After not finding another place nearby to stay, we decided to stay as little as possible in the room. We tried to sit on the upstairs balcony and again Mrs. Grumpy scolded us rudely for smoking on the balcony. Deciding to spend the rest of the day outside, we walked 2km back to the only cafe in the area. We sat there until the place closed. We had no choice but to go back to the hostel only to hear her scolding again and comments that the room door was slammed by the wind and disturbed the other guests' sleep... Mrs. Grumpy follows the guests at all times and everywhere. All areas of the hostel are barred from entry with iron chains, which means you can sit either in the room or in the back garden on a bench without shade. We sat there until we went to sleep. At nine o'clock in the evening, it was still light outside and I wanted to go out again for a breath of fresh air, Mrs. Grumpy was just about to close the front door to the hostel without the possibility of the guests returning to their rooms. Here I insisted and did not give up, despite her protest. There is no TV in the room, the Wi-Fi does not work, half a roll of toilet paper, old and torn sheets. The only option to drink coffee or tea in the hostel is by purchasing from the automatic machine near the reception under the watchful eye of Mrs. Grumpy. The price of the accommodation is relative to the other excellent places we stayed in Portugal - expensive!!! It will take time for us to forget this bad experience.

Good welcome after a day of walking. Ideally situated on the Camino with taxi transfer to local restaurant for a pilgrim's meal. My room as not in the main building but that was not a problem as I had a good night's sleep. Breakfast good
No additional facilities (bar or lounge) but I had not expected any from the booking.com description

The atmosphere was very welcoming. We loved the breakfast. There was some community feeling, but we still had our privacy where our mattered. We loved this place on our pilgrimage.

Not much. most things were broken
We were offered a free ride to a restaurant. the taxidriver was extremely rude to us. When we were in the restaurant he said that he will not bring us back. So we walked back. Extremely poor service.
We did not recommend this hotel to anyone. booking.com unworthy

The peacefulness and the beauty of the region were wonderful. And although the language difference between myself and the owner was great we found a way to satisfactorily communicate. Merci madame!

Although the host does not speak English (she speaks French and Spanish), she tried to help as much as possible. The facility itself is very old fashioned, basic Camino accommodation which you come across on Frances.
No even mini market around and all we have is a vending machine by the reception.

The place is clean.
The room is very basic. Also, it's nicer to stay nearer the center of the village.
