Spacious relaxing room with good seating. Sense of staying in a home rather than a hotel. Good shower pressure and hot water.

Great breakfast, wonderful welcome and very homely.
Given an option of rooms on arrival in case we had changed our minds.
Great advice on where to eat in town.
Shower room was small.
Could have used more towels but too tired to go and ask.

The breakfast was amazing!! The owners went above and beyond to get us a vegan breakfast. They also went out of their way to great us, make us feel so welcomed, and super friendly! The spot is beautifully decorated as well-they've just re-done the sitting room. I loved staying here, they also kept the rooms so toasty and warm.

Lovely large house, large double room, bathroom small but functional. Plenty of room for parking. Cooked breakfast was good. Offered fresh milk for tea in the room.

Dellwood was in a good location, with many facilities nearby. The host was very friendly and helpful.
Our rooms were quite tired and could do with updating.

Breakfast was good
The bedroom was huge but all the furniture was pushed to the sides therefore there was no bedside table or access to one side of the double bed as it was up against the wall. There was a huge sofa beside the other side of the bed which if re positioned would mean both sides of the bed could be got at.
Bed linen, towels, toilet were all clean .
Wash basin needed good clean around tapes.
The shower was very dirty. Around the runners for the doors( which was off its runners) and the rubbers seals and tile grout all mouldy. Also shower door did not allow proper access to shower.

Down to earth, good value Bed and Breakfast. Friendly welcoming hosts and a hearty Scottish breakfast.
Nothing comes to mind.

Comfortable bed.
The owners need to decide if this is a hotel or their home. Currently, it has none of the benefits of a hotel and all of the bad parts of being in someone's home. From slippers in the hallway, calling out between family members and a house party with shouting, foul language, beer cans and wineglasses lying in the back garden, this was the most uncomfortable stay I have ever endured. The owner made a comment at breakfast that you don't apologise for a good night out, but the issue remains that you were not OUT, you were in your place of business that you are charging people to sleep (or not sleep) in. The owner wandering around in their pyjamas does not set a tone of trust that good management practices are being adhered to or covid guidelines followed. If this is what family run hotels are like then I would prefer a big chain.
Apart from the night shenanigans, the room had paper on the floor under the bed and crumbs on the carpet.
We don't have cooked breakfast so opened packets of All Bran and Special K were dumped on the table for us. Too bad if you don't care for these, this was your only option. Want toast? You get butter and no offer of any spreads. It is basic to the point of spartan.
The whole vibe is that you are at someone's house that doesn't really care for you being there.

We enjoyed three nights at the Dellwood Hotel. Travelling with our dog, we received a warm welcome. It is a family run Hotel, and the whole team did everything to make us feel at home. We have been well looked after during our stay. Our room was away from the main street towards the garden and very quiet. The location of the Hotel is ideal, only a few walking minutes two Supermarkets, the town centre and the Sea. Plenty of possibilities to walk the dog around the Hotel.
We should have stayed another day, as there is so much to see around Campbelltown.

Location excellent for our planned activities. Breakfast was served at convenient time of our choice and was well cooked.
No significant problems.

Just out of the town, by a short walk. Spacious room and great atmosphere. Fresh cooked breakfast was excellent
The seagulls roosting in the trees were noisy, quiet after dark

Run by a helpful, communicative couple, the hotel is around five minutes' walk from the centre of Campbeltown. The accommodation was clean and comfy with an open view over the town. Very good breakfast. We were able to park our motorbikes at the rear of the hotel, out of sight from the road.
