Excelente opción para conocer Gante

Fuimos por una noche Recepción muy amables. Áreas comunes nuevas, para sentirse como en casa, muy bien decorado. Habitación privada para dos, básica, bien. Baño limpio, prolijo y moderno Con muy buena calefacción, se agradece porque llegamos con nieve. Bien ubicado. Excelente opción para conocer Gante

Fantastic place, really solid

The Hostel is very well organized in general. There is a kitchen that is fully equiped with an oven and all the kitchen tools you would need. The hostel is extremely clean and tidy. The hostel has strict rules on noize in the evening and eating in the room. If you are looking for a very wild hostel this place might not be for you. But if you are looking for a nice place that is neat you will be satisfied.

Common room could have nicer tables but that is a matter of preference.

The other guests were very inconsiderate, the quiet hours were between 08.00-10.00 yet there was a noise coming from a room on our floor from 07.00 with women and children banging doors and running around and dancing about and singing.

Good value for the price, excellent location and great staff. A bit on noisy side.

The hostel is very clean and the staff was extremely kind and responsive. The location is ideal, a bit away from the center so very quiet but close enough that walking everywhere was very easy. We got a private room (2 twins) with a private en-suite bathroom, which was really great.

The mattresses were definitely not the most comfortable, and rooms were definitely not soundproof. A bigger group was staying just across the (narrow) hall and was talking loudly at 4 am, and it sounded like they were in the room with us (this was addressed promptly by staff for the next night btw, so we only dealt with it once). So if you're sensitive to noise, I'd think twice, or bring earplugs. There is also no elevator, so could be a problem for some people.

Overall okay but not worth the price, we wouldn't stay here again. Rooms were average, with very loud floors and creaky beds. The mattresses and bed frames were old, and although the provided sheets seemed clean at first there was an odd white dust when you shook them. The location was okay, but I wouldn't describe it as central. Internet was okay in the common room but pretty bad upstairs in the dorms, being basically unusable. They charge you an extended fee to store your bags later 6pm, and due to the employees (Katherine) wanting to finish up earlier it was reduced even earlier in our case. I'll also note that the hostel is too cheap/lazy to put new bedding on for new guests. It's not the only hostel to cut costs in this way of course, but it's always disappointing.

Clean and functional room.

Great, clean hostel. Good kitchen and the room was comfortable and warm in winter. Spacious bathroom. Lovely staff at reception. The hostel is in a lovely area for a stroll and not far from city center. Good, basic breakfast offering.

No lift so if you have heavy luggage be prepared to take them up narrow stairs.

breakfast was very good. we could leave our bags before our check in but one should be careful as they aren't open all night.

i didn't like making my own bed. it's very difficult to do it on your own on upper beds. beds are also very low quality- skueaqy and crackling.
