Pool is nice, room ok hotel a little outdated.
restaurant workers not very friendly. location a little remote

QUIET, CONVENIENT LOCATION

Loved the pool and the room, beautiful surroundings in the jungle.
Staff were quite rude and the food in the restaurant isn’t great. The food is more expensive than surrounding places in Palenque. They also never had any bottles of water - which seems silly as it’s dangerous to drink the tap water in Chiapas.
3.9
Away from the city.
Staff was a bit grumpy at times.
POOL NEEDS A LOT OF MAINTENANCE.
Road getting there is a bit tricky, specially if you have a small car.
3.9
The personnel wasn’t really customer oriented. Especially, the guy in the restaurant (serving breakfast) wasn’t really friendly.
3.9
The rooms are well appointed, with good quiet AC. You are in the jungle and it is a pleasure to listen to all of the noises especially in the evenings and mornings
Food service was painfully slow, 50 minutes for a Fajita......also had to wait the same 50 min for our drinks. They need a good manager to organize all the young and inexperienced staff.

Was great to escape to the jungle, but hotel in pictures looks much better, but in reallity does not cost its money. In room no hair dryer, in the shower water barely running, no door net against mosquitos and a lot of steps if you want to get upstairs. Rest was fine knowing that you in Mexico. And yes the road to the hotel was just a disaster 🙈

The yard, the pool, the gardens. The trees, bushes and flowers were extremely beautiful! I also liked the whole look of the houses with their straw roofs.
The room didn't have a window or a French door which to open and let in some fresh air. Our friends had a room at the second floor with a nice terrace and possibility to let fresh air inside.
3.9
We liked that it was close to the ruins and the style of the buildings. We also liked that it was in the middle of lush greens.
The public toilette did not get cleaned. The pool water looked very dirty thats why we did not take a swim.
The bathroom sealing was moody.
There were some dirty spots on the sheets.

The room was spacious and the air con worked well. The location was good and there was a nice pizza restaurant just down the road - El Paraiso
The WiFi for our section of rooms did not work. We repeatedly asked at reception about this and we were told it was working. However when we spoke to others in our block of rooms they also said it wasn't working for them. Staff were dismissive and didn't take it at all seriously.
The pool is small and was dirty while we were there. There is very limited space by the pool to sit. Some loungers would be really nice. It gets very busy with families and children in the pool.
There was also a sewage smell near our room from the water tanks.
3.9
excellent location and facilities. very good price. hotel restaurant with good breakfast and very reasonable prices.
staff could have been more helpful and less stiff, especially when serving breakfast. oh, and some basic English words wouldn’t do any harm. If you are not fluent in Spanish you can communicate zero.
Also mesh panel that keeps insects out should be installed in rooms. it is a pity to have to sleep with balcony doors shut!

the Hotel is close to the Center and the Arqueologica Zone.
The man which works at the reception, did a real great job, it seemed he is the only real competent person working there. He was always very helpful with any question also how to get to places and call a taxi when we needed one to get to the bus station.
The room service was ok.
The best was as well the restaurant,"el Paradiso" that was down the road wich had the best food and there is a Cafe right around the corner to recommend.
I didn't like the service in the restaurant. The waiter was absolutely unfriendly, slow and he let us wait a long time(he had something ignorant)Not only us had this impression, we've met another couple that felt the same.
I payed the breakfast in advanced and the first day the waiter wanted to make us believe that just half of the original breakfast is the one we get. It took us some time to make him understand that we want the whole breakfast we've paid for... that can't be!
The restaurant doesn't offer any vegetarian food.
The common area was not really inviting to remain for longer, for a short time the chairs around the pool where ok, but there are no options to lay down to rest and enjoy the pool.
The music was quite loud.
We had a room right at the bottom and everybody that passed the way right in front of us could look through the windows , so we had to close the curtains wich made the room quite dark.

pool was good
rooms were not clean the first day

location (in the middle of the jungle hence very quiet!)
staff was nice and helpful
the property is quiet simple and maybe a bit oldish (would need a small makeover)

very beautiful location! we could order a pizza from the restaurant and they brought it to our room but thr pizza was really really bad, because its tased really sour! i also gave a feedback that we cant turn off our airconditioner and it was really cold. he told me that he will come to our room but he didnt. On the bed were blood stains but the bed was really comfortable and big.

It has the most gorgeous grounds and a very inviting pool. There was lots of bird life and we heard howler monkeys. It was lovely being surrounded by the jungle. Nice Italian restaurant next door.
This place should/could be absolutely awesome, but it really misses the mark. The staff would prefer to be tooling around on their phones and will finish their video before serving you - if I was their boss, I would have fired them all. The rooms are extremely musty - windows that open with fly screens would make a huge difference to air the room out. The bathrooms were kind of icky and the shower smelled very strange. The wifi is only available down in the common areas. The restaurant is truly awful. There’s no drinking water except for small bottles to purchase at the bar, but there’s also nowhere nearby to buy a big bottle, nor is there anywhere to keep it cool as there’s no fridge. So disappointing, as the grounds are spectacular and it has all the right ingredients to be amazing. But it’s not.

This hotel is located between Palenque and the ruines. You can arrive by coletivo during the day, but at night you have to take a taxi. It has a pool and the rooms are very confortable.
The workers were not that nice. We asked to refil our bottles of water once they just sell little botles and at the beginig they were refusing, even when we oeffered to pay.

nice and perfect
everything on it it’s perfect , friendly staff and good service

Decent pool and atmosphere. Nice jungle surroundings.
Restaurant didn't always have the food we wanted despite being on the menu. Pool area could have been a bit cleaner.

- Nice Roms with ac
- Nice Pool
- bathroom wasn’t nice
- Nice terrace at the room, but you can’t use it, because there are no chairs or anything
- Nice pool but we were missing some place where you can relax like a hammock or a subbed

i like the out side
i didnt like the inside. in a moldy location the windows should always be open, the person who showed me my room added to my complain of the horrible smell of the room, that i should not open the windows and only use the ac, which made the smell worse.
The worker told me that all the rooms are like that, i gave it a shot and when i could not take it anymore(1 hr), i have come to the reception to ask to change the room again or to check out but it has been said to me that it cant be done.

Very nice pool area, and lush garden's, we got a beautiful view from our bongolow terrace. Our room was quite nice and had an ac unit that was very confortable,
They sell their own beverages that aren't very good, they are pretty but had almost no alcohol, and at a high price.
3.9
The rooms are comfy and the pool nice
The person in charge of the pool and the bar was not nice at all, the pool close at 10pm we could not even go at 9:30 pm just for 5 min, the bar were open until 12pm, at 10 pm we could only order to take away… in the room ! The personal at the reception was not helpful and at the price of the room we expect at least to be a bit attentive.

Feeling like in the middle of nature.
Nice pool.
A bit far from the city (ca 3 km).
Some sun loungers could be by the pool.
3.9
the gardens. the rooms from the outside.
The rooms were very bold, and not kept up.

Quiet place to sleep, far away from busy city noise. Close to ruins of Palenque so very convinient to come in morning. Nice swimming pool. Pretty stable and fast wifi in our room (1.might be different in a different house, because the rooms are in different houses 2.not sure how about in other areas). Good mosquito nets.
Umm, this property has probably the worst staff we encountered in Mexico. We read the reviews before arriving and they are true. First of all the girl in reception had a bored face when we arrived and wanted to check in. BUT the worst is that she gave us the room nr 140 which ACTUALLY HAD LEAKING ROOF AND BLACK MOLD/FUNGUS on ceiling. And the staff gave this room to us knowingly about its problems! We are backpackers and we do a lot of camping so trust me when I tell you we are not spoiled. I started sneezing instantly in the room and my husband found that the AC was NOT WORKING!!! So we go to reception and ask if they have a different room (we had already paid and had to stay in this place, otherwise we would have immediately left). So we ask for room and the girl says "yeah sure" and guess what: she gives us the room in THE SAME HOUSE WITH THE SAME PROBLEMS! My husband is furiuos as we are tired after a long day of driving. We ask a different room in a different house. The staff says "yeah sure" and FINALLY gives us a room WITHOUT LEAKING ROOF and with working AC. And we thiught our problems would finish here. Oh boy were we wrong! This place has paper thin walls. I usually sleep like a stone, so I am sleeping and I hear someone CHOKING (yeah I know how weird it sounds but true) I wake up thinking its my husband, WHILE it is GUYS NEXT DOOR! :DD I mean I have never ever anywhere heard neighbooring room that well. Aparantly the guys were in city drinking or partying and came back home at 1am. This place is quiet because you have no road, but if you have bad people next door it is impossible to sleep. So we didnt dare to try food or drinks in this place as the reviews were right about everything else and they told that food here is not good. I would not recommend staying at this place for anyone, we left the next morning and headed to a nicer place to stay!

The rooms was very spacious and clean
The staff was really nice and willing to help whenever needed
The bar was closing exactly early and the issues is that there isn't any shops around.
It wasn't a real issue for us as we headed to town every night... It's a walkable distance but not for everyone I guess lol, if you want you can ask at the reception to call a taxi for you and it's 20 or 25 pesos

Very nice place, surrounded by nature, trees, very cute houses. They have reastaurant for dinner and bar. It was very near Palenque temples.
The beds were too hard so it wasn't very comfortable to sleep.

...
Awkward location and tricky roads for a place that is not worth the end result or price. Nothing really to see in the "ecolodge" area, there wasnt a garden area to see or feel like you were in the jungle. The "garden" areas that were there were not kept well. The room had an eery feel to it and lacked any form of personal touch, cobwebs, mould, paint off walls, toilet didnt flush, windows that didnt close, bed sheets stained and ripped, the whole room was damp and dreery. The balcony had a view to nothing, well the top of a bar where they played music, killing any feel of being in the jungle. We were there for one night, which was one too many. This is my first ever review and i feel obliged to tell people to avoid this place. The cost in comparison to other hotels and airbnbs is baffling. We met another couple who stayed across the road and their place and experience was the exact opposite of ours, so it is not my personal opinion of the area, just this place..
3.9
Nice pool, decent restaurant, attentive staff. Plus for the location to explore the Palenque ruins.
