Perfect blend of old and new.

We stayed on the top floor in a room overlooking the canal and watched boats go in and out. I love this hotel. Its modern, clean and feels like you're staying in a piece of history with modern and unique touches. The town is easily walkable, breakfast can be in the hotel down the street or around the corner. If you're ever in the North, this spot is perfection.

A few suggestions for where to maybe have breakfast in the area.

As a visiting Australian, it was a treat to be in a Dutch house with a beautiful front facade.

Loved being in the centre of the town & very close to the boat for Terschelling. Very impressed with the interior design. Easy access to the room. Coming from Australia it was a treat to be in a beautiful Dutch house especially the front facade.

Very nice and spacious room. Modern interior, very nice bathroom. Even with small veranda.

Breakfast was not included and a bit simple for the price.

Beautiful property and rooms, nice furnishings. Great location, very close to the ferry terminal and train station.

Reception was a little far away. Could have provided shampoo and conditioner as well.

Charming facility and wonderful stay in a great part of town. Exceeded expectations!

Great setting on the canal in the oldest hotel in the city. Normally that would concern me but it was charming and retrofitted inside with all the modern conveniences and comforts one could ask for. Top shelf and memorable!

Here you can breath in the history of a small fishing and ferry port.

Conveniently renovated historical building. Central location close to the outlying islands ferries. Excellent view of yachts arriving and leaving the harbour in the morning and evening.

Pricey breakfast. The promised WiFi did not work.

Lovely, quiet stay

Location is perfect, right where you want to be. The room was charming and well equipped and very quiet. Perfect for a couple night in Harlingen.

My only complaint are the bed pillows - too big/firm. I have that complaint at almost every hotel.

Beds, blankets, pillows and location were perfect.

The room was hot and we couldnt open the windows because the backdoor neighbours were noisy until 2 AM. There was a ventilator but that was not enough to cool the room.

Can’t wait to go back!!

Parking close by for €5 a day and our bikes were stored close by free of charge. Everyone was so helpful. We had a wonderful time!

Amazing location, and the staff really friendly. Room was quiet with an amazing view to the canal.

The only thing was the wifi, the signal wasn't so strength at the room, anything else was great.

We stayed already second time during March 2021. And we already plan next trip here. We love this cozy, stylish and spacious hotel. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. Cleaning lady is helpful. Thank you for your assistance!

Superb

Clean, modern, well equiped room. On a beautiful spot very close to the ferries to the island. And the food from Nooitgedagt around the corner is great.

It is a bit noisy between the rooms on the second floor.

One to return to in future!

Great location on the harbour, near the station and ferry terminal, with restaurants nearby! Friendly staff, and proper COVID precautions, and of course pet-friendly. Great base both for Harlingen itself, and for visiting the islands.
