Excellent part of Lorne if you want to be away from the crowds, and in nature, but still be near to town and beach. The cottage is what I envisaged to be a traditional forest cottage with a cosy fire and ambience, comfortable furniture, beautiful outlook to nature and a large balcony with BBQ and table. You can watch and hear the various bird life. Very pet friendly.

Great shower, comfy bed, cute cabin feels with wood fire and lovely green surroundings. This place is well thought out and have everything you need.
The only thing it was missing is an aircon, however there were plenty of fans left for us which did the job.

We loved the cute cottage style with a loft bedroom. Marsha and Ed were very approachable and sweet. The cottage was well stoked with cooking utensils. Being among the trees and up a hill, helped beat the heat during the hot days and night. Neo our dog enjoyed the enclosed verandah to look at the chickens and geese that roamed happily around the property. Very peaceful and lovely.

Eddy was very welcoming and the cabin was beautiful!
My partner and I spent the weekend enjoying lots of hiking around Lorne. Eddy had some great recommendations and the cabin is such a beautiful place to come back to at the end of the day. The firepace and handbuilt wooden feel make it very cosy. I would highly recommend!

Cosy cabin in a great location
You feel like you are staying out in the remote bush due to the gorgeous surroundings but the cabin is only a short walk to the town centre/beachfront. The cabin has everything you need and we loved that it was dog friendly so we could bring our furry friends. Thanks Marsha and Ed

Great place for a Lorne break
We have stayed in both Cherry Tree accomodations at different times this year, with our dog. Comfortable, warm, nice setting. If you want all mod cons they are not available ( eg smart tv), but if you want time out, comfort ( the mattress is terrific) and the wood fire great, with your furry friend then both places are good.
Just a steep 10 minute walk or so to the beachfront, getting back is a bit more challenging 😅

Beautiful, cozy space to unwind. The house is well kept with all the basic amenities we need available. Marsha and Ed were just a phone call away too but checking in and checking out was hassle free and contact free which is important in these times. Worth a visit and you will surely come back again.

Fantastic - has to be experienced to be believed
Beautiful cozy cottage with everything you need. Amazing setting away from noise and bustle of Lorne centre but close enough to walk straight into town. Beautiful hikes nearby. Perfect location. Couldn’t fault it and Ed and Marsha are very friendly and welcoming. You won’t regret a stay here.

Beautiful cabin
What a great stay. We had a great 4 nights in this beautiful little cabin. Wood fire and gas heater. Great cooking facilities. Quiet street but we could still walk to Lorne in under 10 minutes for dinners and supplies. The owners are lovely and brought us new fire wood through out. There is good WiFi if you need it but we literally just read books by the fire all week and went for amazing hikes that are right on your back door step. Will definitely be back.

Great little cottage close to Lorne centre
Thanks Ed and Marsha for allowing us to stay in your guest house.
A Lovely little puppy friendly 2 story cottage with a nice outdoor area with a bbq. Close to centre of town but a tough walk up the hill. Ed was kind enough to provide fresh eggs from his free-range chickens. Had a great stay and have recommended the Willowbank cherry tree Cottage to my friends.

Impression of property was good, as it was recommended by one of the owners neighbours. Dealing with stayz created a false picture of the actual property. Prefer not to deal with stayz.
