The place is located near a river and you have quite a nice view from the front of the pension and your windows. As it is situated in a small town, we felt very safe even though we arrived quite late in the evening.
The owner of the pension was very friendly, spoke good English and there was no problem in changing the time of arrival and arriving late. There is a possibility to pick your key up from a keysafe if you arrive after the reception closes, we had no problem with it as the owner gave us clear instruction how to get it, albeit in German.
The room as well as the bathroom was nice and clean.
The pension is located near a quite big motorway and it can get noisy even in the middle of the night, so if you are a light sleeper, it might be a problem.
It would be great if the rooms had an electric kettle and cups instead of wine glasses.

We parked our bicycles into garage.
Very busy traffic before windows of room. No restaurant around 3 km.
5.0
The breakfast was very good
The cleanlyness was perfect
The bed was very comfortable
The bedroom was large enough.
View on the river
No air conditioning makes nececessary to open the window in the summer, which would be acceptable if there is no noise outside.
But the noise of the traffic prevents from sleeping.
The width in the toilet is about 50cm so that you have both shoulders touching the sides.
The internet/ W-Lan is not effective.
No elevator to 1st or 2nd floor so that carrying the luggage may be difficult

The main reason for choosing to stay here was to see the firework display from the Grevenmacher Wine Festival which was as spectacular as we remembered. The room was big, comfortable and considering the busy road nearby pretty quiet
Breakfast was expensive but was pleasant enough. It would have been good to be able to check in a bit earlier
9.0
Large well furnished room with en suite facilities, car parking for guests, wonderful breakfast with all that you could want
On main road , although slightly recessed, therefore a lot of traffic noise in the early morning shower moved when on

Everything was very good.
Nothing really but beds could be better.

The place was nice with spacious rooms. Very friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. The breakfast although a bit overpriced was very reach and tasty. Good location by the river.
Bathroom was too small, so small that the sink was in the room.

Keep in mind there is nothing in Wellen (no restaurant, no shop) so bring everything you need. For me this was the perfect stop over before travelling to Luxembourg. The room was larger than expected and suited my needs
It would be helpful to have a sink in the guest area so you don't need to return to your room to fill up the cattle and wash the mugs afterwards. Or provide a water container and more mugs so guests don't have to wash them when running late in the morning

The room was cold and it was impossible to make it warmer.
