The apartment is spacious and the balcony has incredible views out to sea. It is located within a high end private resort with a simply stunning private beach and pool. There is also a wonderful family-run restaurant next to the pool; the food is authentic Greek and some of the best food we have eaten while in Crete.
Perhaps needs to be made clearer in the description that to experience all the facilities of the resort, you need to drive everywhere, and be a confident driver! The apartment/resort is on a very steep hill, you can walk down to the pool but the return is extremely challenging!

It had beautiful views and was a private community
There was some construction across from the villa we were staying. You need a car to move around since the property is isolated from comercial area and is on a steep hill. The only easy access restaurant is near the pool, otherwise you need a car to go to any other place to eat or buy groceries.
Rocky beach, no sand. Best to drive down the steep hill where the beach is and park down there.

The location was excellent, with access to a mostly private beach. The place was large, and had all the required amenities. The hosts were lovely and very helpful throughout our stay.
The kitchen was missing oven gloves and a toaster. There is a long steep walk down to the beach and pool. A car is essential at this location
