Peaceful, scenic location, outdoor and indoor pools, comfortable rooms, great breakfast (cooked and continental), lovely staff. Tifany looked after us exceptionally well in the run-up to and during our stay.

Breakfast was wonderful. Outside under the trees. Croissants, chocolate du oain, the orange juice were perfection. We qere offered eggs as well.

EVERYTHING. Really, we loved this petit chateau so much. It like we were staying with family, especially with the super friendly, adorable yellow lab who welcomes everyone. I don’t know what what better- the food, the property with it’s awesome pool (which you need in the summer!), the room with comfortable bed and jacuzzi?! We absolutely loved this peaceful, refreshing, delicious and homey chateau.

Wow what a place. I arriving thinking I was going to a chateau hotel but was surprised to find it was a chambre de hotes or B&B. It was such an ironic experience as I had visited a property the day before to buy which needed a lot of work and I was thinking oh no until I went to Chateau Palanquey! What an amazing oasis in a vineyard. I arrived in the dark so it was such a surprise to see the landscape in the morning. The facilities are amazing. The level of effort is astounding and I can see why they have such a high rating. Indoor pool, outdoor pool, sauna, robes, slippers, no detail left to chance. Designed to the highest level. It's such a beautiful place. I will definitely be back for the vendage!
Melanie and her husband Laurent were delightful. I really appreciated the chat we had about restoration and advice they gave me. And Ironically we had worked for the same company but in two different countries. The world is indeed small. Thanks for an amazing stay.
Me. I could have spent more time enjoying the beautiful facilities if I hadn't been so tired from driving around France like a mad woman looking at properties. :) I would have loved to have tried the dinners too. Next time.

Piece of paradise with very friendly hosts who make you feel like part of the family! Great Food Made by master chefs Laurent and Malanie and served with love in the beautiful environment. Very pet friendly which was important to us. The whole property is decorated and designed on top level. It is also very clean and profesionally maintaned. Comfortable bed and quite area ensures great night sleep. We Had to be in Bordeaux region and we chose the best property and Best hosts for our stay!. We will come back for sure! Thank you Melanie and Laurent for great Experience! We hope to see you again soon! Love, Nana and Ante (and french bulldogs:)

Breakfast was nice and homely, with homemade jams. On one evening we ate outside and the weather, view and masterful cooking made for a nice and relaxing evening.
Our hosts and the dog (Maroilles?) were very friendly and helpful, but the highlight for me was the e-bike ride along the Dordogne to the wine tastings.

The location is stunning and so peaceful that you can't help but relax into your holiday. The facilities are excellent and they cater for everything you could possibly want, enjoyed a very relaxing massage in the SPA and the pool is excellent. We had the room with terrace which overlooked the pool which was well work the little bit extra, it also had a hot tub. Melanie the owner was brilliant with her recommendations for meals out and two excellent vineyard visits as well as an excellent host along with all the staff.
The evening meals at the Chateaux were excellent just a pity it needs a minimum amount of people to make it viable so its not available every night. The choice of menu using local ingredients plus the quality of the cooking we would have had more evenings watching the sun go down.

We booked to have dinner one night and this was exceptional. Really enjoyable with superb food and ambience in the beautiful garden with stunning views. Quiet and peaceful.
This is more like a bed and breakfast stay in someone’s home rather than a hotel so you know what to expect. I must say that the hosts are lovely friendly people.

We booked this stay for a bit of rest and relaxation after a hectic few years, and that's certainly what we got. The property is stunning and has been recently renovated to an incredibly high standard with some great authentic vintage pieces dotted around. You really are away from it all as the chateau is nestled within private vineyards, so you'll hardly hear anything other that the birds and workers in the fields. Melanie and Laurent are really great hosts and ensured we had everything we needed. I really recommend making use of the bikes to get to and from Saint-Émilion and the surrounding Chateau's for wine tasting too - this was truly the highlight of our stay.
There's not much at all, but I would say that I found it all a little expensive. On top of the booking, we paid for breakfast each day, a dinner one evening with a bottle of wine and the rental of the bikes. This was all charged on departure and I was a little shocked at the cost of it all. Also, the honesty fridge is very expensive so we didn't drink anything by the pool or in the rest of our time there (from memory the cheapest available beer was a can of Heineken at €13) - I'd have liked more options of wine by the glass or smaller bottles here too to make the stay within the centre of the worlds most impressive wine region a little more immersive. There are very little to no shops at all in the area so you don't really have a choice, I wish we'd have researched this a little more before booking.

It was incredibly stylish, in a beautiful location and felt like a lavish home from home.
The fact that we couldn’t have dinner at the restaurant but we were the only two people staying so understand why they didn’t open up the kitchen.

All the staff is nice and friendly, specially Melanie. The place is wonderful, quiet and perfect for couples and to relax. The amendities are nice, clean and very comfortable, specially the bed and the bed clothes. Perfect view and perfect sunset to be enjoyed with a glass of wine and French cheese.

Clean and nice service
The two swimming pool and sauna are very nice.
Overall very nice hotel and very nice service.
Food is ok but not great. Quality/ price ratio is not good. Going to a restaurant is definitely an option.
A few quirks here and then in the equipment of the room (a few broken items like the in the
bathtub or the towel hanger) but everything is nice and clean.
I am just disappointed that when renting a suite, you get just one room (instead of ... A suite or rooms).

The chateaux is gorgeous! Everywhere you look you find a small detail that makes it so special. The owner’s Melanie and Lauren where amazing!! They are the ones that cooked the 2 amazing dinners we had and the delicious breakfast every morning. At night they served us the most delicious meet and cheese with the best red wine ever! The heated indoor pool and spa were very much appreciated to relax after a long day tasting wines and walking the spectacular Saint Emillion region. I highly recommend!!
