Location was perfect! Pool right outside our door and beach right across the street.
The property manager kept a strict watch on the pool and everyone. He yelled at us for throwing a ball in the pool to each other. He yelled at my brother's kids in their condo for hanging towels on the edge of the balcony to dry. I felt so nervous the whole time that we were doing something wrong instead of being comfortable on this expensive vacation.

Good location, easy assess to the beach. There are beach chairs and umbrella in the apartment, nice for beach goers.
There is no air conditioning. Good thing that we didn’t spend much time during the day, or it might be too hot inside. My husband and I did fine by leaving the window open at night, but my son felt it was too hot. We noticed ants in the kitchen on the counter top upon arrival. We had to limit our usage of the kitchen.

We live on Maui so this was a little staycation for us to celebrate my birthday that fell on Father’s Day. Plus our anniversary was the week before so it was a nice little getaway. The location was perfect for us, beach right across the street and close to restaurants/ the store. The cost was very affordable and this unit was ideal for our family. Loved that it was on the ground level, next to the pool, we really liked eating outside and enjoyed the view. I loved that there was a playpen for our baby and kid books as well! Loved that the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook with. And there were extra pillows and towels as well. Having a washer/ dryer in the unit was amazing! I also felt the openness of the unit was nice for our kids to play and have fun.
No guess parking on site. I didn’t realize there was no AC which in Kihei it’s a must because it’s so hot! Even with ceiling fans and the extra fans plugged in it was still very hot. Which by the way the fans was dirty and needs an upgrade, couldn’t even feel it. We didn’t even know who our on site representative was in case we had any issues. The password for the WiFi was invalid, the pool key didn’t work because it had a digital key pad and we had no code for it. The floors in the condo was very dirty my poor 9 month old was crawling around and the top of her feet and knees were so black and our feet as well. The unit was dusty including the vents in the bathrooms. The rugs in the bathrooms looked like it wasn’t washed. The mirrors, closet floor and drawers throughout the unit was dirty. The main bathroom (with the tub) it was very hard to close the sliding door even the sliding door to the patio was stuck too. The bathroom (with the shower) in the master bedroom would have both hot and cold water then it was only straight hot. My poor 9 year old took a shower first and had to experienced that. I’m glad she didn’t get burned and was smart enough to turn it off and yell for me to help her with the water adjustment. But when I couldn’t get any cold water I just told her to finish showering in the other bathroom. Also there should be a mat of some sort in the tub so you don’t slip. Because when my 3 year was coming out from the tub he slipped and bumped his head. I understand that we live in Hawaii, we were on the ground floor and all but you should also let your guest know about bugs that you may have. Found small dead cockroaches here and there. A huge live cockroach in the bathroom and tiny small fast ants everywhere but mostly in the kitchen. Knowing what is going on in world including Hawaii with this COVID-19 I was very disappointed in the fact that the cleanliness of this unit was not taken seriously especially because I have kids!

in the property notes it clearly said there were two boogie boards in the 2nd bedroom closet and vacasa staff confirmed this, upon arrival there were no boogie boards and we then we were told it doesn't come with boogie boards so that was an unexpected cost that we incurred by renting elsewhere. Also, there was a mouse in the mouse trap and when we called to have it removed they apparently couldn't get in but didn't call us so it took days before it was removed. It would have been much more convienant to have the office staffed and be able to talk to someone on sight. There was a broom but no dust pan and when i tried to use the vacuum the wire was exposed. The staff did bring a broom and dust pan quickly, which we apppreciated.

Loved the big open kitchen and outdoor seating and big comfy beds. Super clean and very awesome condo access from the beach. Great location beautiful condo.
No coffee pot for the coffee maker but made it work.
Vaccuum didn't work but broom and dust pan worked fine.
