Hotel molto accogliente. Arredato in modo particolare ma con buon gusto. Si respira una bella atmosfera. Non molto comodo per parcheggiare l'auto. Il ristorante è di ottimo livello. Ho molto apprezzato il bagno grande fornito anche di accappatoio

A Unique experience in the heart of Edam! Old world charm blended nicely with clean modern facilities. Dinner and breakfast were excellent as well. Highly recommend this stop!

Wonderful location in a beautiful & historic hotel

We loved our room and and the location in the centre of town was perfect. We also had a leafy view over the lovely canal. The breakfast was excellent, although I would suggest less sweet pastries and more options of healthy / brown bread. There was only the option of coffee and tea, but no fresh juice. The service was quite slow with only one person serving several tables, and this could be eased by providing a buffet breakfast, rather than the waitress coming to each table individually.

The mattress was not very firm and rather soft, so it was difficult to have a proper night's sleep. The bathroom was also very dimly lit, so it would be good if they could add some extra lighting. The floor of the bathroom was also not cleaned well and had several stains nearby the toilet.

Charming hotel with beautiful interior. Excellent value for money ,can highly recommend

I have stayed at this hotel many times before to visit family and friends. The decor in the restaurant and rooms is beautiful and the beds extremely comfortable. We ate in the hotel and the food was delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is easily accessible , 20 minutes on the bus from Amsterdam .

Good location, shame about the delay for breakfast.

Great location in the centre of Edam. Opposite both the Edam museum and the main cheese shop. Hotel offered secure place to leave our bicycles.

Although breakfast was supposed to be from 8am, we had to go to the kitchen to let staff know we were there and then there was no food until 08.20. Fortunately we were only cycling on to Amsterdam and not further. We were not offered orange juice, yet when we left the hotel at 09.30 fresh orange juice was being made for other guests.

A great option when visiting Edam

Our room had a lovely canalside view. Staff were helpful and the breakfast was great. Room decor is certainly unique and has been nicely done up so we had a comfortable night for a much better price than elsewhere in NL.

Stairs up to the rooms are "typical" being extremely steep so hold onto the rail for dear life coming down! Entrance is basically just through the (very busy) restaurant so could be improved with a bit of thought.

we really enjoyed our time in Edam, an absolutely beautiful place.

great location and lovely town.

it was a very old hotel with lots of,personality, rooms are,small but adequate and there is a bit too much stuff in the room. we would have liked less chandeliers and more clear flat surfaces for personal items. bathroom tap needs attention.

Very cosy and great designed hotel, the best in the city. The hotel is situated in the center of the city on the square with the oldest medieval buildings. We loved to stay there. The room was a little bit too small, but for one night it was ok.

No fridge in the room. Also it was a little bit too busy because of tourists at the dinner
