Location was perfect, although in the middle of the old town centre it was really quiet at night, even for a street facing room.
Size of the room "Riesling" - a seperate living room with a sofa, a bed room and a ballroom size bathroom.
Everything was spotless and clean.
Nice breakfast selection and the only hotel on our Germany trip that served lactose-free and oat milk at the breakfast buffet without specifically having to ask for it.
The beds were hard (we were prepared for this reading previous reviews), however the pillows were awful too. Like a big folded towel without filling.

right in the center of town so you can walk to everything. Our room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was great (lots of different cheese, meats, cereal and fresh fruits). we would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved this beautiful place. Room was cosy and big and location is perfect. Breakfast was superb!
We had to park our big 4x4 car a bit far from the hotel, but no big issues for the sporty people.

Excellent location - in the heart of the town, but quiet at night. Very good breakfast, very clean, nice staff. We had a very room and bathroom large and comfy.

very good restaurant downstairs.

Splendid location, very quite in the evening. Very friendly staff.

Our stay was great. Staff was friendly and the food was very good. We had a lovely breakfast, slightly distracted by clearing of tables and loading of dishwasher in the dinning area. The location is hard to beat with area buildings from the 1400's in superb condition, many shops and cafes.

We had a beautiful street side room for two days in the heart of town. The breakfast was great. We had an evening meal at the hotel that was outstanding. Great and helpful staff. The hotel had a secure place for our bicycles that had easy access for us.

amazing hotel ...
everything was fantastic ...

Very good position relative to the center of the old Bernkastel city. Fancy restaurant, very good for those who are craving for Michelin stars and artwork in their plates rather than a full belly. Breakfast was rich and tasty. Bernkastel is a fascinating city (the old town) and I think it is the loveliest of all on the Moselle valley in Germany.
Rooms are tiny. They tried to create an area for sleeping and an area for living, but given the size of the room, it made everything look weird. The staircase is narrow and quite steep, so watch out if carrying heavy luggage. Parking place is far away and a bit too narrow. I entered the one way street up to the property, to unload/load my car and I felt like an alien - everybody looked at me in a disapproving way, chatting and looking worried that I might smash into a table or a shop window. Due to the many one ways, I had to do big detours, to return to the same place if I had forgotten something.

the location was beautiful and the room was large and fresh. The breakfast was a bit meh but you can certainly get some bread with sausage, cheese or meat and an egg. We had a nice time there.
it did feel a little dated but that wasn't too bad in the end.

Location was great.
Room was nice.
Secure bike storage.
Breakfast was very good.
No WiFi on this property.
Restaurant closes early so no place to enjoy a drink or desert after 8pm

Good German breakfast, friendly staff, excellent price, close to town center, rooms have a nice size, loved the stay there
Was a bit noisy because room was streetwise, but when everything closed up was ok

The location of the hotel is top! Breakfast is really nice! Everything is there! And it tastes very good! We loved it and enjoyed every minute of it! Prices are ok! Very nice and calm environment! There is a free parking which is really nearby.
Rooms were smaller than other years except for one which was as a ballroom! Especially the bathroom was very little. Light did not work in the bathroom! Pillows were not comfortable and the mattress was hard.
4.5
- easy check-in/ check out
- very quiet at night, although the hotel is situated in the main street, but there are no cars at all by night as it is mainly pedestrian
- wifi worked ok
- breakfast ok, different types of bread rolls, ham, cheese, jam, hard egg, juice and coffee.
- the mattress is so so
- the parking... you need to go through the main street (mainly pedestrian) and it's full of people on the street and we didn't expect that. Relax and stay calm, take your time and it will be ok. The parking is actually located futher away in the street, 300 meters after you have passed the hotel. We didn't know that, so we missed it and had to go around the town one more time, then park where ever possible, then walk to the hotel for check-in, then walk back to the car, then drive to the parking... Not that easy, but it seems to be the same system for every hotel in the center of the town.
Also, the staircase is a bit narrow, so avoid big and large luggages. We only took what we needed from the car and filled our rucksacks and small handbag, and left our large luggage in the car.

The property was centrally located. It’s surrounded by a lots of cafes and restaurants. The room that we stayed in was very big. It had a separate small living room area with sofa and tv, then a sleeping room with a small cute balcony and a pretty big bathroom. The property was exceptionally good, clean and comfortable. In the morning we had a very nice breakfast just in the restaurant that belongs to the property. The staff were really friendly and approachable.
3.5
The staff, room size and the lokation
The cleaning. Remember to vacumclean under the bead.
4.8
Location and size of room. Very nice staff.
Our bikes and gear became wet in the storage room .
