Excellent staff and location! Highly recommend!

The owner was very helpful for information about the area. He was also very attentive to customers needs. Breakfast spread was amazing and they would also fix eggs to order!

La personne à l'accueil lors de notre arrivée ne parlait qu'allemand, un peu surprenant pour cette gamme de prix Pas d'ascenseur et marches assez raides

Stylish, friendly place with very comfortable bed and amazing breakfast.

Incredible selection. Eggs cooked to order.

Only very minor quibble was lack of decaff coffee in the room.

Man braucht zu Fuß ins Zentrum von Bernkastel ca.. 20 Minuten - wir hatten uns die Entfernung geringer vorgestellt.

Exceptional

Staff was very friendly and spoke very good English. Breakfast was great with eggs made by request. Restaurant had great collection of wines. And the area seemed to us one of the best ones in whole Mosel.

Excellent hotel that was impossible to fault

I rarely give a rating of 10 but the Burgblick got everything right - check-in was quick (and earlier than many hotels), staff were helpful and spoke English. They found us a table for dinner in the in-house "Ochs" restaurant, the room was large and light with plenty of storage, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom modern. Facilities including tea and coffee-making in the room, quality toiletries, and a large, comfortable bed. A wide selection of breakfast items was offered. Wine from their own Weingut was available for purchase. We appreciated the secure bike storage since we were on a cycle tour.

Very good

The breakfast was great. A Lot of fruits, veggies, and meat they have to offer. Staff even cooks if guest wants eggs or etc.

Restaurant seating. Could of allowed guest to choose their seating since no tables were reserved. Only one waitress so as more people came to dinner longer wait times for food and drinks is expected.

Perfect stay in a perfect town?

Comfortable beds, nice restaurant, well appointed rooms.

Location a little far across the river from the old town, but we loved the walk to get there.

Great staff here, the hotel restaurant Ochs is topnotch, walking distance to anything in town.

A great European style breakfast, eggs cooked to order when you arrive, fresh breads from a local bakery, large selection of foods which should satisfy anyone. Very attentive staff.

A more comfortable sitting chair in the room for the times when I had work on my computer would have been nice, but the furniture is only suitable for very short periods of sitting.

Nice stopover in picturesque town

Nice and quiet location. Good buffet breakfast. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds.

Not much, except that walls and doors are rather thin. Even feeble noises, such as a person walking normally on the stairs, can be heard in the rooms. Beware if you are person who can very easily be woken up. We were counting on the restaurant in the hotel, but we found it was closed only when we arrived. However, there are several other options just 5 minutes drive on the other side of the river.

Great time in Bernkastel-Kues

Great Breakfast. Very clean and modern hotel. It was a 10-minute walk to get to the middle of town but very easy.

Parking can be a little difficult. If they do not have parking near the hotel there is a small lot very close by.

Good hotel but would pick one on main thoroughfare next time.

Morning staff was very helpful and was able to work with our limited german language ability. The afternoon staff not so much. Breakfast was good and were able to handle our food allergies. Free parking was directly across the street from the hotel entrance.

2nd floor room without a lift. This wasn't highlighted in the booking description. Stairs were narrow and steep. Hotel was located on a secondary street.

Very good value family hotel

Lovely family run hotel. Clean. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Very good, reasonably priced restaurant on site. Good value generally.

No lift. A 15 min walk into town (much easier with bikes!).

Very clean room, wonderful staff, great breakfast and parking

Excellent breakfast with fresh made eggs. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for dinner, but the very friendly staff made an excellent recommendation to the brewery in town. The parking lot holds around 10 cars, and was very easy to park in.

We stayed on the third floor, and while not a problem for us, there is no elevator in the hotel, so you might find yourself breathless by the time you get to your room.

Thanks to Burgblickhotel! The room was spacious and exceptionally clean.

Although the in-house restaurant was mentioned at Michelin guide in 2016 in 2022 it looks a bit outpriced and nothing really outstanding. The service is pretty straightforward and far away from being competent!

A perfectly relaxing and cozy stay.

It is a very sweet and cozy hotel very close to the town center. It has a beautiful view of the castle from our room. It has good amenities like fitness and sauna. Food is fantastic and the staff were friendly.

Great location on the Mosel

We stayed just one night in a junior suite, which certainly fulfilled the name from its balcony. Room was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Customer service was exemplary after an accidental wine spill during the evening meal. Great hot drink facilities (coffee machine & kettle) in the room.

Exceptional

The name Burgblick is no mere poetry: from the rooms in the back you really have an amazing view of the medieval castle ruin on the hill!! We sat for over an hour just looking out the window and it was great to have a coffee machine and free coffee in the room.

Getting here by foot from the train station is a bit of a hike, although the location per se is not bad at all (the train station is in Bernkastel, the hotel is in Kues). There is no elevator so you have to shlep your suitcases up the stairs: but if you get a room in the back with a view of the ruins, it is well worth it!!!
