Everything the food and staff were amazing. I could not have picked a better place to get away.

We liked our spacious, clean and comfortable room and the modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. The breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant were excellent and the service was efficient and friendly. We would highly recommend this hotel.
I couldn't fault anything.
4.3
Dog friendly and clean room
The dedicated dog paddock was great.
Bathroom was a bit “tired” looking. Toilet seat was loose; lime scale on shower door; wash basin taps were crooked and needed tightening.
Food (dinner) was way below par. Polite enough restaurant staff, but the fish and chip and curry dishes were really poor.

Hadn’t visited since new wing was built…its a wonderful addition, beautifully fitted out and decorated, and very comfortable. Breakfast was as excellent as it has always been!
Hardly anything! Shingle car park makes dragging a case difficult.
4.3
Lovely staff
Low flow shower
Rooms too warm and dark as windows too small
4.3
Meals were excellent
Good sized room
The upgrading of the hotel is only 90 % successful eg still poor lighting in the bedroom
4.3
The meals were excellent, as were the staff
4.3
Very dog friendly and vegan friendly.
Goody bag provided for the dog, there's also an enclosed area for dogs to use.
We ate at the hotel, there were a couple of vegan options on the main menu, but when we said we were vegan they bought out a separate menu with more options, same for breakfast.
The weather!! Would've walked into Milford in the evening, but it was pouring down.

It’s very comfortable with large rooms. The staff are helpful and the location is great for getting into town
It is a little far from The New Forest. A car is needed to explore

Our bedroom which seemed freshly decorated was well furnished with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, cozy carpeting and beds very comfortable with a nice en suite shower.
Staff were pleasant and helpful throughout our stay.
The restaurant exceeded our expectations for dinner for the quality of the food and the bar area and we really enjoyed our dining experience. Breakfast was also good with a high quality cooked option. Really appreciated the extra pot of hot water that came with my pot of tea, a small but nice touch.
If you have a dog, excellent judging by the waggy tails and relaxed owners with a paddock for your dog to have a run. We will bring ours next time!
Overall well thought out facilities and service which made a good impression and provided that extra detail to make your stay memorable for all the right reasons.
Nothing. Only a small suggestion re breakfast service to put extra milk out to collect a refill as had to ask for this as the one provided at the table doesn’t stretch to cereal as well as beverages.

Room, lounge, bar
Wi-Fi in room was not good

the reception staff were very welcoming and we got into the room by the agreed time. our biggest disappointment was breakfast was not included in the Booking.com price. Breakfast was extra and difficult to work out as getting
value for money as it was a set menu. The evening meal was very good, staff were all very friendly. We walked into the village and down to the sea front, it was all so pretty and not overly spoiled. we would go back but we will book direct next time to make the breakfast option worth while.

Facilities for dog were great. Sunday roast was lovely. Room was well equipped with tea and coffee making stuff. Very large comfy bed.
Because we booked through Booking.com we didn’t get breakfast included in the price. Same price booked direct with hotel includes breakfast

Phil went above and beyond. He gave us a lift to Keyhaven for a 70th birthday party.
it’s 1.8 miles to walk and very expensive to hire a taxi.

really beautiful building, rooms were spacious and clean. Staff always on hand when needed.
It would’ve been nice to have access to water without needing bar staff, and more choice for drinks (lager tap specifically). It was also quite expensive for breakfast.

A very undersold Hotel in the fact that it was “dog friendly”. When we arrived we were handed a lovely bag for our dog with a ball and water bowl, plus a letter from the resident dog, what a lovely gesture this was. The rooms were in my opinion better than some of the not dog friendly places we’ve stayed!!! This place is where the dog goes and takes the human along to get them there for their holiday break!!! Plus a lovely running area outside for dogs, perfect set up.
Loved it all!!

Reception staff went beyond there duties to accommodate our needs and special laundry request on arrival due to my wife suffering a large nose bleed on our travels
Bar staff refused to serve drinking chocolate at breakfast time

We booked a room as we were holding a celebration of my dad's life in one of the function rooms. The room reached all expectations along with the service received overall. We had an evening meal the night before which was excellent with very efficient and friendly service. The breakfast I would give 10/10. When organising the function room on the day of the event, management could not have been more helpful (Phil) and were on hand throughout the event. We all enjoyed the buffet and it was great to have the bar in the function room where we had barmen to service throughout. Would highly recommend for either a few days away or/and booking in a function room.
