The hotel is about twenty minutes walk from Meta station, and there's a frequent bus service. It's in a great location right on the beach, where the swimming is good, and has also a large terrace with swimming pool. We had a large comfortable room with a balcony giving a fabulous view over the Bay of Naples, and of sunset over island of Ischia.
I was impressed by the courtesy, professionalism and very good level of spoken English of all the staff I came across, and the characterful internal decor of the public areas - the hotel feels like it's had a recent make-over. There are other restaurants and lidos within a short walk.
Breakfast was excellent - anything you could want was on offer.
My only criticism is the poor quality of coffee offered with breakfast.

difficult to find the first time

the size of the bedrooms
the poor customer service of the receptionist with long hair who did our check in

The location is the most amazing feature of this hotel, with direct access to the beach.
Also, we got the Junior suite room, with internal Jacuzzi bath in it and it was really nice. Breakfast was very good.
The hotel should improve a lot on the facilities provided to guests.
First off, the mini-bar was empty (not even a complimentary bottle of water!). Also, the hotel offered just very simple bath soap and shampoo - no creams, nor anything else. All things you would **at least** expect from a 4 stars hotel.
On top of that: the Jacuzzi bath was in the room, but no salt nor any product provided to use it, not even a bath robe.
for all the time it felt like "it was good, but not good enough". The little things are were the hotel has lots of room for improvements.

views, food
distance to town centre, only a few shuttles per day
we were in the “annex” and couldn’t even see the sky from any window, only a brick wall.
pillows were old and hard
only one tiny expensive shop close by

Beautiful hotel right on the sea. Hotel has spectacular details and the service was perfect! Only downfall is that if you walk from the meta station it takes you down 143 steps that you have to carry your luggage down so take the bus to the hotel. However the 143 steps has a great view of the sea and hotels and buildings around
Website did not provide many pictures and did not say that the beach was rock based on sand

The view and location is perfect. A lot of places on this coast are hard to reach by car and are not by the beach. So this is great. The views from the balcony are absolutely beautiful. There was free parking with video security and a gate (also very rare on this coast). The breakfast was very good. The shuttle to Sorrento worked really well. Free sunbeds on the beach (again, very rare in Italy). Wish we could have stayed longer.
The building can definitely use a bit of paint and can use a bit of an update.

Amazing view with access to the private beach which is a big plus in Meta. Hotel keept clean and rooms are very comfortable. There is a shuttle bus to Sorrento or public bus few min walk from the hotel. At the beach you will find few nice restaurants (Note: in Meta some restaurants are closed on Wednesday). We enjoyed our stay a lot and would love to come back there again.

lovely view from our balcony
nice beach area

chair and small table there no sofas
as the pictures suggested, very basic
the safety box was not fixed therefore
could have been taken very easily
the shower base was cracked and
had so much silicone smeared on it
amazing
we paid over £300 a night for this

amazing staff and a free shuttle bus into Sorrento.
the food was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. right on the beach front and you could get a sunbed at any point during the day.

The location was stunning. Staff were very friendly. Hotel was clean. Pool was nice and the swimming area of the bay was amazing and huge. Breakfast was good and had many options.
The hotel could use some updating - rust on railings and balconies, paint chipping away in many exterior places. The food, especially for dinner was fine, but underwhelming. Could have had more options, but it was a solid 7/10.

Amazing location with wide open view to the Naples golf amd Sorrento; the sunsets are spectacular.
3 beach restaurants near the hotel, private beach, junior suite is having a lot of space.
The staff is incredibly helpfull amd very friendly, the breakfast is very good, suitable for all tastes and preferences. The restaurant of the hotel is very good, also the bar.
The free bus to Sorrento should be considered as a plus.
Overall, an enjoyable stay.
Even if it was a spectacular hotel during the 80s and 90s, it needs a little bit of maintanance.
The chairs in the balcony needs replacement.
The bathroom also needs a little bit of maintenance, as weel as the walls in the corridors. And the facade needs a little bit of improvent.

Only good thing I would say about this venue is the view and the staff (not the manager or man who stole from me)
This was the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. A contracted member of staff stole my Airpods (value 300euro) I was able to prove this beyond doubt as they trackable on my phone. Staff agreed without question it was the case, however the manager who was impossible to get in contact with implied it was my own fault for not confronting the man before he ran out of the building. Members of staff agreed it was obvious, however the manager when he finally did contact me after I had left the country did not!! He claimed he tried to contact me (he didn't) and when I asked to be reimbursed for my losses by his staff, he simply stopped replying.
The first night the hot tub in our room did not work (approx extra 60euro/night) the shower also broke immediately among other smaller things. We asked for maintenance to fix, which they did but did not fix the hot tub! We were told it was not broke! I then had to show the desk, videos of it not working and bring a member of staff to the room to show him. They were very polite and moved us to the room beside.
When leaving as I had still not spoken to the manager about my stolen property, or the hot tub not working. I had requested 3 difference times for him to call me, I left my number, told the desk my plans etc. I wanted a refund for the hot tub and also to be reimbursed for the Airpods. The receptionist informed me he would not allow me to leave if I did not pay my outstanding bill (food, coffee, tax etc) and he would call the police. I was happy for him to call the police as I had been robbed by a member of staff for which I had proof. He then convinced me to pay and swore to me he would get the matter resolved as he was aware of our experience.

The beach was clean and just near the hotel.
The hotel doesn’t deserve 4 stars. Nothing was provided in the room (no water bottle, no toothbrush, no soap/shampoo). The hotel is old and needs renovation. Food wasn’t of good quality, same with coffee. There’s nothing much to do in this location, it takes time to wait for a taxi to take you somewhere else.

our jacuzzi didn’t really work and we had ants come thought the jacuzzi
