Room was tired but clean. We had to change room as initially we were given the wrong room at check-in and then second room the window didn't close on a busy road. They were happy to allow us to switch when we pointed this out to a third room. Good value for money.
It was a little on the hot side for us and road was too noisy to open the window.

Basic budget hotel, better than Travelodge. Easily accessible, clean with basic amenities and friendly staff
The corridor smells of smoke (cigarette smoke from the resident), may be this can be aired

It was clean and tidy great value for money
No dairy free alternatives at breakfast

People entering my room as my room no change wasn't updated on your system. And workmen starting at 8am with a loud radio.

Well appointed. Convenient for us.The lovely blond lady on the reception was very welcoming and helpful she is a credit to herself but wasted at Parkside.
Building work around it. (Couldn’t be helped). It felt unloved and atmosphere was cold. The young girl behind the bar did not look professional. The first morning we were woken up by the housekeeper coming into our room at 8:30 We asked her to come back later. When we returned to our room that evening our room had not been serviced. The next morning she came even earlier again disturbing our sleep. We felt as if we were in an army camp and if we weren’t out of our beds by a certain time we wouldn’t get them made. It seemed as if we the clients were getting in the way of their job. As we were visiting friends in the area I’m afraid we shall not be recommending the Parkside to anybody. Sorry

Bed comfortable
Restaurant closed completely on Sundays. Very poor external signage covered by bushes. No number given for road.

Easy fast early check in
Beds weren’t the comfiest. The bar wasn’t very well stocked
3.4
Nothing
everything was dirty room was smelling of cigarettes ,no pillows and sheets had what appeared to be blood stains

apparently the breakfast is good but we didn’t get any because we missed it
the bed was so hard like laying on cement, the balcony could have been cleaned as there was lots of only bird dropping out there

Location was great for what we needed.
Beds and towels were clean.
First impressions werent good as the outside of the hotel was in a bit of disarray, front door was boarded up with OSB board and duct tape.
We were there for 4 days and never saw a cleaner. The communal stairwell definatly wasnt hoovered in that time.
Furniture in the room could have done with a good clean, we cleaned black mould off the window frames.

Location was good for us.
Being woken up at 6.30am, then again at 7-8am by what i assumed was staff moving/cleaning?

old hotel i was in bed at 8 o clock there was nothig in hotel

It was close to a bus stop.
Beds were clean.
The grounds were very run down and unwelcoming. Loose tiles on the floor in reception Check in was difficult. Uneven floors in corridors. No deadlock on the room door. No net curtains on the window meaning anyone in any of the facing rooms could see straight into our room. One pancake pillow each. Beds like boards and not in a firm orthopaedic way. Hard sheets. No ventilation in bathroom. Enamel chipped on the bath. No information whatsoever either offered by staff or in the room or anywhere else regarding facilities. On our first night we were told the residents bar closed at 11 yet on the second night a group of what I assume were residents were still in full swing in the bar at 5.30am.

Most things. Bed adequate - a bit weary. Room suitably equipped and warm.
Not too keen on loud staff meeting outside on paved area between blocks at 5.45 am- lasting about 30 mins.

It is very convenient and close to family and Lao the town.
Would be good to vary the Bar Food Menu as it has not changed for quite some time. The food is good just needs a bit more variety.

Large room and space + Quiet environment nearby
The tub is slippery and narrow, no non-slip mat is provided
Stains were found on the toilet when check-in
Wall is too thin and you can clearly hear other guests
