Overall a good experience

Very clean and nice aesthetic

Exceptional value for money

The room was very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The balcony was large with comfortable furniture and a drying rack for swimming costumes etc. We enjoyed the 2 plate stove, kettle and kitchen utensils which allowed for self catering on occasion. The air-conditioner worked well. The two ladies who alternated at reception were exceptionally friendly, helpful and had good suggestions for trips and transport. We enjoyed the beach across the road which allowed for an easy swim in the afternoons after exploring the island. We enjoyed being able to have sundowners and watch the magnificent sunset from the beach bar across the road, Cava D'Oro. (Livadia restaurant wasn't yet open). Easy walking distance to many restaurants, a supermarket, the port and bus depot. Hotel Livadia exceeded our expectations! Highly recommended!

Not great value for money

We enjoyed the location. Not far from the beaches and with a 10 minute walk to the city.

It's not great value for money. The room was very small, the balcony too, and it was a very cramped room. It barely fitted an open suitcase on the floor because there just wasn't space for anything.

Exceptionally clean budget hotel. Beachfront location.

This is a basic, but exceptionally clean and well cared for budget hotel. Staff and maid service are excellent. Location is superb--on the beach and a 5 minute walk from the old town shopping area and docks. There is no elevator. Bathroom is compact, which is true in just about every Greek budget hotel. But its completely functional, so hardly a big deal for the price and quality.

There is a bit of clutter in the common area on the third floor. But who cares, really.

We loved the location, sea view balcony, and cleanliness of the room. The staff was super nice and helpful!

Booking.com said there was free breakfast included but there was none

the sea view is nice, we had large room with big balcony, in the best area Livadia, next to the sea. It is 1 km from the center.

No frills in a great location

Quite basic but in a great location. Staff helpful & friendly.

Ok time at Hotel Livadia….

Location was good & we had a pleasant view of the bay from a narrow balcony situated at the side of the hotel. The main bedroom was a good size & had plenty of storage. The second sleeping area was disappointing being a lot smaller & also accommodating kitchen equipment etc. The pull out bed was not very comfortable. This accommodation may work for a family of 4 with 2 children utilising the smaller room but we found it challenging as 4 friends especially Norman who is 69 & struggled to get out of the pull out section of the bed in the smaller room. It did make us all laugh though as he dislocated his ego on a couple of occasions getting out of bed!! 😂😂

Exceptional

Room was nice & clean. Sea view from balcony is fantastic. 2 minutes from sunbeds. Staff carried my rucksack up & down the stairs, very helpful as I'm partially disabled

Nice hotel with basic services right by the beach, friendly staff!!

Right by the beach and lots of restaurants, daily cleaning service for rooms, balcony

Pillows were hard and there was no duvet only a sheet so it was a little not cold

Superb

The room and bathroom were very comfortable. There was a problem with the AC but after reporting it, it was resolved in no time. The housekeeping service is excellent and the Hotel staff is very friendly.

Relaxing stay by the water

Decent sized room Cute balcony Clean Good value for money - paid around 40 euros. 10-15 min walk away from town/port

Nothing really, the toilet initially didn’t flush but that was fixed by house keeping the next day.

The location was good. The room was cleaned with fresh towels everyday.

There was no lift to the upper floors. There was a kettle with 2 cups but There was no tea, coffee or milk. The bathroom needs to be updated. The shower was good but the shower curtain looked shabby and old.

Great location, old and tired room and amenities.

The location is great. The side view of the sea with the balcony is a nice. Good price for the ease of location.

We asked for double bed, but it was not ready upon arrival. The building looks old from the outside and need an update. The inside needs a good revamp - very old and tired. Not a lot of packing place in room nor bathroom. TV not working. Compared to other stays, staff was not friendly and room and amenities not up to standard. Restaurant prices can be better for guests.

Great view. Good location, near the beach & a short walk to the town centre.

Overall it was a good experience. Very solid mid level affordable hotel.

This problem was rectified after lengthy conversation with the manager.

Location of water front rooms were great

Photos can be misleading. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment with seaview and were led to believe from photos on this site showed room photos at the front over looking the bay. Initial room we were given had a side partial view of the sea and back of the restaurant and carpark. We had to move rooms after one night to get the room we believed we had booked

Fine for an overnight stop in a lovely location

Excellent welcome and advice from receptionist Xanthi. Helped with bags up steep stairs to second floor. Wonderful location with restaurant running down to the sea.

The unfriendly attitude and inefficiency of the manager rather spoils the atmosphere!

Such a great location

Lovely clean room, comfortable bed, amazing views, friendly helpful staff. The location is just perfect, it has lots of lovely restaurants and beach bars but is much more peaceful than the port area or historical centre (and they're less that 10mins away on foot anyway).

Great place, great stay enjoy!

Great location, near the center of the city - 3min walk on a flat terrain /very important when you come back from the reastaurant/. Easy parking and quiet neighbourhood. Clean rooms daily, friendly staff. Just super!

Lovely location clean good food

Great location friendly staff. Rooms are basic but absolutely fine. It's clean and good food in restaurant right on the beach. Good value was glad we stayed there

Lady at check in was very nice, as was the cleaning lady. Just did not live up to the reviews,

Breakfast i didnt like on 2 mornings. Fruit seemed like tinned to me. Scrambled eggs were not edible, my opinion
