The grounds were stunning and really well maintained. The breakfast was delicious and varied throughout our stay.
The rooms were very sparse in terms of creature comforts and decorations.

The room and the hotel in general was very clean, the staff was very good, breakfast was quite rich and the swimming pool was safe and clean with satisfactory number of sunbeds and umbrellas.
Difficult to find amything

Everyone was really nice and friendly welcomes us to the hotel, location was great close to the beach and restaurants.
The food was a little disappointing at the bar as when our food was served it wasnt very generous.

This was 3rd time at Eleftheria..always going back because of the staff! They are all friendly and ready to help with any query.
The housekeeping team as well is great and was really nice that the maid recognised us and took really good care of us.
There is always room for improvements but generally speaking I can see the owners are investing on renovating and improving which is really good thing.
To highlight in the bathroom should put hooks for towels behind the doors..the one on top of sink only good for small towel and leave big ones on the rail top of the toilet not really nice
This is comment about superior rooms not sure if standard would have same design

We booked a single night here as our flight arrived very late to Chania airport. It was one of the few places that we could find that had a dedicated 24 hour reception staff to check in. Although other accommodations offer self check in we felt this way would be better and avoid any problems should there be any. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The facility was very big and the breakfast was lovely.
The room was a good size, but I felt it was perhaps a little bit dated and could use a refresh. The door to the room also didn't have any additional security i.e. deadbolt or chain which we would have preferred.

Very nice welcome with a smile and excellent service! - the perfect location (on a hill) with a view of the sea and only a few minutes from the beach. The good is that the hotel has a small bus to move the guests from the hotel to the main street! Very useful, especially if you do not have a car. very comfortable room -The hotel booked us a taxi transfer from the hotel to the airport on the departure day and a trip to Balos-Gramvousa!!
Delicious breakfast and dinner!! extremely helpful staff, last but not least the swimming pool with the best view!
We will come back with our family in August!!!

The staff was friendly and helpful. Our reservation was with breakfast but we could pay and have dinner. Both breakfast and dinner had many options and we could taste the Greek cuisine!!

The facilities were nice and the swimming pool next to bar
area was a nice place to relax if you wanted some downtime.
and the front desk staff were helpful in organising
taxis/busses to and from the hotel.
The photos in this site and the hotel’s website are
misleading and the photos uploaded are from when the hotel
first opened I believe.
Secondly, the dinning room staff were disorganised and rude.
During the breakfast time, the front of the house let in
more people than there were tables/seats.
So people would be grabbing their breakfast and having
no where to sit. When paying customers asked the waiter
what they should do, the wittier simple shrugged his
shoulders and said “what can I do”….
thirdly, When my partner and I were still finishing up our
meal, the waiter took our plates away when we were
very clearly still eating, and he said “we are closing and
the buffet food is gone, so you don’t need your plates
anymore”….which wasn’t the point…..
Lastly, when we first checked in and got into our room,
there were at least 20-30 hairs on the floor, and we were
sure it had been “cleaned” because the floor was still wet
from the old mop that was used to clean the floor.
This was the case everyday for our stay, and towards the
end of our stay we asked the cleaner to stop
cleaning our room because we were sure it was probably
cleaner to leave it as is.

I loved the big pool, and the silence, as we stayed in the third building in the back.
The walking distance to the beach takes about 20-25 mins, and its uphill

It was easy to navigate, clean, cool and there is always someone around to help. The roses in particular are beautiful and the view from the pool and dining room to the sea is lovely. The staff really make this place - they genuinely care that you’re having a good time and make every effort to be polite and helpful. Some people found the walk up and down the hill a bind but we actually liked it and being away from the noise of the town was a plus for us. It is beautiful and tranquil at the hotel and the bar food was great.
Our room was the only disappointment but we were immediately given the option to change so it’s not really a dislike. Before the trip, we were told we would have a double bed on the ground floor with a garden view but we possibly had the worst view (electricity pylon) which at first was a shame for me as I like to read on the balcony on holiday. We were offered another room the next day but it was right at the back of the complex whereas this was in the main building. Unfortunately there was quite a bad drainage smell in our room too but after a couple of days settling in we quickly realised that we didn’t want to spend all our time in the room anyway and that the bed was comfy and we had space. If we go again I’ll request rooms 221, 222 etc as that’s what we’d been expecting. The staff, the breakfast, the pool, the view and everything else more than made up for it! Only other quibble was the music round the pool was the same every day (and bad!) 😅

We really enjoyed our stay. There was a mini bus that ran a couple times a day from the hotel for free taking us down to the high street which was super useful. The pool/ bar area was always lively in the evenings and Akis the barman was lovely and made everyone feel incredibly welcomed and involved.
The breakfast buffet had everything we wanted and the staff were really welcoming. Rooms were also cleaned daily which was an added bonus

We stayed there for one night and we felt like being at home!!
The staff was very polite and friendly. The breakfast was rich with many choices to eat from salty until sweet...
The hotel is located on a hill with a very nice sea view! Due to its location, we had the opportunity to relax. The hotel offers free transfer with a mini bus from there to the main road about every two hours. That was very helpful.
Thank you very much for the lovely stay and I will come back again in the future for a longer stay.

The breakfast was good, we had a garden view which was good too. The location was okay
We had a nice stay we didn't spend much time at the hotel because there was a lot to see outside
We didn't have time to try the pool.

Nice pool area, barman very funny and friendly
Hotel is 15 minutes’ walk away from everything –up on the hill. The shuttle they offer only drives every two hours. Breakfast very bad (small verity and bad quality), air-condition was very noisy
4.5
The rooms were comfortable and the double bed very large. The pool was fantastic, with a smaller one for the kids. Breakfast was also very nice. The staff was friendly.
The pillows were not comfortable, which was a surprise given that the rooms and beds were well taken care of. I was given another pillow upon request, bit still not of the best quality. The hotel is also a little far away from the beach, if you don't have a car, but the hotel offers rides in a mini bus.
