Un hôtel très mignon et calme avec une superbe équipe

L’hôtel est très mignon, calme, joliment décoré à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur. Proche de la plage et des restaurants de bords de mer, le taxi pouvait directement nous emmener à la médina pour 1€ environ. La piscine et le rooftop sont très jolis. Le personnel est très gentil et chaleureux, le patron nous ont donné plusieurs adresses de restaurants que nous avons adorés. Un grand merci à tout l’équipe !! Ps: les petits déjeuners sont très bons !

Nous avons pris une fois un sandwich Kefta le midi à 6€, nous avons été un peu déçus car il s’agissait d’un sandwich steak fromage. Néanmoins, nous avons commandé en dernière minute, l’équipe a été très arrangeante pour que nous puissions manger :)

Nous reviendrons dans votre Riad .

Très bon accueil, personnel très disponible. Nous sommes à 2 pas de la plage et 20 mn de la médina , très agréable promenade sur le long du front de mer. Les petits déjeuners sont complets et également très bons déjeuners et dîners sur très belle terrasse sur le toit. Le propriétaire est très sympa, merci.

Hotel est tres mignon, dans la rue très calme. La cuisine est excellente, d’ailleurs c’est le meilleur couscous que nous avons mangé au Maroc! Merci à toute l’équipe et aux propriétaires! 😄

Fantastic Week At Vent Des Dunes

My family and I spent a week at Vent Des Dunes, We stayed in the family room with the terrace. It was a spacious room and was spotless. The shower room and toilet were separate and both had sinks. It was on the ground floor in a quiet corner of the hotel, perfect for families. The terrace was great for evening card games. The pool was small but spotless and we used it every afternoon. Breakfast on the roof terrace was delightful and the friendly staff did their best to accommodate my family's range of dietary requirements. We booked airport transfers via the hotel. And camel rides. Both were excellent and I would recommend arranging these via the hotel. My daughter and I also used the spa, it was wonderful, extremely relaxing. I would highly recommend staying at Vent Des Dunes.

The shower didn't drain well so we had to stop mid shower. We could have done with more coat hangers and cushions on the outdoor seating would have been nice.

This is the hotel to stay if you visit Essaouira!

Great stay! We loved Essaouira, but the best part was the hotel staff. Iman made us feel at home, Samira gave me the best hammam experience, the reception girl (so sorry for not remembering your name!! 😩) was incredibly helpful, and the chef was awesome and smiley and accommodating! Thank you all for three fabulous days in Essa!!

Would certainly return! A little bit of heaven in Essaouira!

We liked everything about the property! The family room was absolutely beautiful!!! The grounds, the roof terrace too. The owner and the staff were very kind, attentive and available at all times. They gave us information on places to visit and what to do during our time there. I liked that we were treated like friends, not like we were customers. We didn’t have anything other than Breakfast as we were out for the afternoon/evenings but I believe the staff would have used very fresh produce and cooked with love and care.

There wasn’t anything not to like! It was wonderful.

Beautiful building and the breakfast on the terrace was lovely. Good location if you want to surf/kitseurf (would recommend KSE 5 mins from here) and the beach club for food nearby

The pool isn't really swimmable, looks bigger in the pics but it is essentially a dunk pool and unclean. Not really use able, we picked based on having a pool and didn't use

Good location for the beach and beach bars. Iman is a lovely welcoming receptionist. Relaxing hamman and massage available at the property.

Our terrace wasn’t very comfortable, just a rooftop really.

quite and peaceful oasis located a stone thrown away from the center

How often, the quality of your host can make your stay going from good to excellent in a sec. Baptiste, the manager never shies away from giving you tips and recommendations about the place to go out, have a drink and or enjoy a savoury meal. And kudos to him, all his recommendations were on point! so overall a great stay and will definitely come back

the hotel is located about 30min away from the medina. or a 2min drive just bear that in mind when booking. but on the other hand, it’s like 2min away from the beach so I guess you cannot have it both ways 😉

beautiful welcoming hotel near the beach

Vent Des Dunes is a wonderful place to stay. Baptiste and all the staff are wonderfully welcoming and friendly. We arrived at 11pm and we were still served some delicious dinner and mint tea on our veranda! The hotel is calm and tranquil, and great for a family. the roof terrace is lovely and there's a little library too. it's worth noting it's a 15-20 minute walk to the medina, but we enjoyed walking along the beautiful beach each day and there are lots of restaurants and cafes on the way too. when you return all is peace. highly recommended.

if you eat outside a great place to stay

the house has got a great location and is close to the beach, 15 min. walk to the Medina. the outside area of the hotel is lovely!

the bathroom wasn’t to clean and the kitchen staff was not caring to much about friendliness or has not been that welcoming. something I would expect being a guest in a hotel.

The room with balcony, where my daughter stayed was OK Location at the end of beach strip, but just 100m away from the beach and very quiet Close to camel / horse rides Staff is very friendly

Don't count on the swimming pool - it is the size of the bathtube. And we looked for place with swimming pool We got room on the ground (terrace?) and it was dark and damp. Maybe OK in the summer, but not in the winter. It had almost no place for clotes too Breakfast get boring after 2 days. French Style- sweet stuff No possibility to make tea, no glasses in rooms etc,

loved our stay at Vent Des Dunes. From the relaxed vibe to the homely feel it was just perfect for our family. Baptiste and all the staff were so kind and helpful. lots of great tips for things to do and always greeted with a smile every morning. great location and lovely walk along the beach each morning to the medina.

Nice quality/price ratio

We had a small issue with the room where we were allocated but it was solved very fast and we were re-allocated in a different room on the next day. After that, no issues at all. The breakfast was delicious and the staff very helpful.

The rooms on the ground floor are still not ready to sleep at. There are a lot of small things but they are doing some works so it should be fine in the future.

Vent des Dunes - Making life better for travellers in Essaouira

My wife and I spent 3 amazing days in Essaouira with Baptiste and his team of amazing chefs and staff. From the very first welcome we knew that it would be an exceptional stay. Bapiste explained in 15 minutes, while completing the necessary paperwork, some lifehacks for Essaouira. Too many to list but one simple example was taxi fares, he said they cost this or that (depending on night or day) this simple piece of information took a layer of not knowing from our daily activities and knowing the price, I'll let Baptiste tell you when you arrive, made the hailing and payment of the taxi drivers a simple task. For those that know nothing to do with "how much is it?" in Morocco 🇲🇦 is simple. Long story short I would highly recommend Vent des Dunes to anyone fortunate enough to spend time in Essaouira.

The roof terrace was my wife's favourite while I liked the pool and spa facilities.

Breakfast needs attention ; coffee not steaming hot. Cooks need to be informed an 'omelette' isn't a fried egg which fits on a saucer....

Relaxed, friendly and happy stay

Lovely place to unwind and calm. We liked the location in the garden and rooftop terrace. Staff were attentive. The manager Baptist was friendly and informative, also helped us to book quads, meal out and hammam, which we really enjoyed. Food very nice at the hotel, we had a dinner one night at the rooftop terrace, and tagine was delicious. Very close to the beautiful beach and a few nice beach bars and restaurants around. We would love to come back, and stay again at Vent des Dunes.

The mattress was a bit hard, room could be a bit bigger.

Nice getaway place to relax!

Beautiful place with lots of very good facilities, we didn’t even have the time to explore all of them: the pool is small but perfect for cooling yourself down and chilling, the spa looked good, the rooms were spacious. Overall a very relaxing place to be. Very nice breakfast in a good setting on the rooftop. You can get to the beach in few minutes walking and the neighbourhood is very safe and calm!

They stated everywhere that card payment would be available but then denied it at checkout. The next ATM is kind of far so be prepared in advance for this situation. The property should just put a sign up if there is no card payment available. Very expensive Dinner that we never used (180dh per person is ridiculous, there are more than enough nice restaurants for a fracture of the price in walking distance).
